Pony Day was a huge success yesterday. Thank you to everyone who came and to all volunteers for their help. A fun day had by all.

Happy Friday! It's time for a midday siesta for us... What are you up to?

We are certainly enjoying the Summer Sunshine ☀️ 🌞. We have the option to keep cool in the yard and under trees. We have also been given some electrolytes in some water buckets. They are apple flavoured, our favourite. They help keep us hydrated and healthy.

Please help us raise some pennies for the ponies.

It’s certainly been a chilled morning at the FLHT home!

Feedback like this is from a SEN school that brings children up to visit is just amazing... we are so happy we can support so many children

"Oohh my today at the stables was just magical .Prior to the stables B was curled up in the feotal position. Totally shut down. She was escorted to the car where she was not a lot better. As we walked into the yard I introduced the children to Anna. Beau and Blue were ready for us.
I encouraged B to touch Beau. Gradually she stroked his nose more and more. Anna offered her some brushes and she began giving Beau a good tidy up. She was relaxing and beginning to talk. Her eyes were alight and I could see her body relaxing. As we walked I showed B how to hold the rope and let her take Beau. I said I was there and I would help but I was sure she didn't need me. It was just so beautiful. So magical. So emotional. B smiled and talked more today than she has in months! It was like a waterfall! An overwhelming success!!
I spoke to the Therapy team at school and they were delighted. If only we could bottle what Beau gave this little girl today!!
What more can I say??
