A job completed in hungerford for some customers that wanted the land to the side of the house a bit more usable. It was a very overgrown area that had no real use at all. So we cleared it all out and installed new sleeper walls and then fitted some luxury artificial grass to the area. Now the kids have somewhere mudfree to play. Happy days. 🤙

Another job completed and another happy customer. Our customer wanted this area paved as a little extra seating area, along with the path down the side and back of the house. We used Raj Green sandstone to match up with the other patio and a charcoal block edging to finish off around the main area. Job done 👌

One of our customers in Thatcham wanted a revamp of their garden. Due to a lovely (but crazy) dog who used the garden as a race track, the grass never grew right. So we relaid the old patio properly and extended it with new slabs, to have a bigger seating area. Then installed some hard wearing artificial grass, which the dog can run round all day long, without making a mess and walking mud everywhere. So now they have a lovely looking low maintenance garden.

Back at Rocking Horse Nursery again.....just not to pick the kids up this time 🤪

At the end of last year, we installed artificial grass to a couple of the gardens, as they were just mud baths. They got on so well with the new gardens they asked us back to complete another two, one of which was nearly unusable as it was just a bog.

So we came to the rescue! It was a pleasure to work here again, all the staff are so friendly and great with the kids, even if they do run around like nutters (they thought we wouldn't notice 😉) I actually think the children were more grown up 🤣

Everyone was so excited to get their new gardens. We often had a crowd of kids watching us work, asking us the same question over and over and over......and over again. We soon had names me (Ben) became Bob (the builder) and Jimmy became Mrs Bob 😂

And who were we to disappoint, now they all have amazing gardens to use all year round, and without going home looking like they've done a tough mudder.

Next on the list was a job completed for a customer in Newbury. A nice simple job that made a big difference in a plain garden.

We extended the main patio area, and added a gravel path with stepping stones that led to a bigger gravel area where there will be a bench, just to have a little chill on. Customer was over the moon with the result, especially having her revolving washing line in just the right place 😊 Happy customer=Happy team 👍

Been a bit quiet on the page lately. We've been busy working and getting wet. The weather has been a nightmare for us so far this year, as it has for many landscapers. Hopefully the better weather is on its way. We'll be posting some jobs over the next few days we have completed.

We'll start with a nice artificial grass job we completed in Thatcham for some customers we previously installed artificial grass for in their old house. It was to replace artificial grass that was installed before by someone else, just not to a very good standard. We ripped it up, took out all the sharp sand and replaced it with 2-6mm limestone for better drainage as it was holding too much water with the sand. Then installed our luxury artificial grass and HEY PRESTO! Proper job 👌

A job completed in Newbury. The garden needed a bit of a makeover as the decking was rotten and the grass would never grow properly... so we ripped it all out and started again.

We installed a lovely new porcelain patio, block border around the paving and the flower beds, and to finish off we installed artificial grass to the rest of the garden area.

The front also had a bit of an issue with weeds and grass not growing properly.
So to neaten it up and make it more maintainable we installed some artificial grass.

So our customer now has 2 low maintenance and very good looking gardens 👌

A job completed in Basingstoke. We carried out this job and installed a new sandstone patio, block border and new steps,while the customer was away and they were delighted to came back to their new garden.

We must be doing something right for our previous customers to have a us back to sort out the front garden 😁 A new gravel path was installed down the edge of the driveway using 20mm limestone chippings, new sleepers were installed around flower bed. Removal of old shed and installation of new concrete base and new shed and turf for rest of the garden.

Job done 👍

Tomorrow is the big day and we will be wading through the mud at tough mudder. We are doing this for a great cause and trying to make mum proud. Any last minute donations would be great and thankyou so much to everyone that's supported already, we are doing so well and have raised a decent amount so far, obviously without sounding greedy we want to raise as much as we can so any more donations would be a massive help. A job completed in Newbury for our lovely customer Lisa. Two new buff riven sandstone patio areas installed with a block border to finish off, low maintenance artificial grass, which with a little maintenance (due to how many trees are over hanging the garden) will look great all year round. New closeboard fencing at the back and both sides, oak sleeper work at the back and sides and new brick steps outside the doors. Lots of different height drains sorted out 🤦 and the outcome is how you see it, a nice, neat, totally renovated back garden, that's low maintenance and ready to enjoy.

A job completed for a new customer and old friend in Bucklebury. A full re-turf of the whole garden, prepping the ground with good quality sandy loam. New borders, removal of old raised beds and installation of a new, bigger oak sleeper raised bed, new closeboard fencing, and installation of black corrugated sheets to the back fence for a bit of a different look. All in all a job well done 👌

Another job completed in Thatcham for another lovely customer.
A complete garden make over which included new sandstone patio area's, raised brick flower bed, flower bed borders and new turf to finish it off.
All that was needed was the planting to be done in the borders which has been done by DKA Gardening Services Ltd and looks great.

Decking replacement and garden spruce up carried out for one of our customers in thatcham.

Another job completed in Newbury for some lovely customers. This was a testing one as we battled freezing weather, frozen materials, pouring rain....we had it all, but we eventually got it done.

Old patio was ripped out and replaced with a new grey mixed size sandstone sandstone delivered by the ever so helpful Nigel Belcher Turf & Paving Ltd
The patio ran the length of the house and led to another patio area where we also built a pergola with a slatted roof for added shade from Britain's elusive sun.

The rest of the garden was excavated, rotavated, and levelled out with some new top soil added and new turf laid.

Both fence lines on each side of the house were replaced with new close board fencing.

Finally down the side of the house we installed artificial grass to be used as a little kick around area for the kids......and adults. It was very uneven before and a few injuries were had when trying to use it so we made it as level and flat as possible so it can be put to good use. A lovely transformation and some very happy customers, that happy we will be going back to do the front garden too at some point in the near future.
