Habits! I try to do a little knitting every day. I'm sure that surprises no one, however I don't always do it at the same time. Does anyone have any ideas to help make a better habit. I wondered about trying to do a little at the same time every day. What are your daily habits?

I had to cast on a new project with our new aran weight yarn - Its a lovely, bouncy 100% bluefaced leicester yarn and this colourway is Bellini Olive. I'm knitting a cowl but not sure how much longer to make it - Cowl wearers - How tall do you like your cowls?

I've started a sample of the new shawl pattern in the colourway Crystal & Roses, and I'm really enjoying working with Selkino again.

I know I'm lucky and have more space to block that many people, but the length of this shawl had Mum and I stumped until we folded it in half. Its perfectly possible to block two layers together - although make sure its well squeezed out or, if possible, spun so its not too wet before you start. There is no fold or line on the finished shawl. #Wovember2022 Today is share your favourite craft, so no surprize there, mine is knitting. I've done plenty of others I really love, but knitting wins hands down for being portable. Especially when you don't get much time to craft, being able to do some in the car while I wait for the kids, at work while watching a training video (it really does help me focus too) as well as wherever I am at home or with friends. This is my current project the #WestKnitsMKAL #TwistsAndTurns which I'm really enjoying even tho I have no hope of keeping it a mystery. I'd be even further behind if I didn't take it everywhere with me. I thought you would like to see the struggle I had photographing this new sample in the breeze - doesn't it look pretty tho!

This afternoon I've been blocking the most recent sample my mum has knitted for me ready for something new for the next show I'm doing. This is the 100 words for rain shawl by @ancaitinbeag in April Showers colourway (obviously!) It takes 1 skein of 4ply, this one is Crush, and 1 of Floof. You can either match the colours or contrast - What colours would you like to see?
