Wow. One week after launching the mycarebudget.org resource and we have a lot of users. Thank you so much to everyone!

We have launched a NEW, online, free, repository of templates and staff policy documents that can be downloaded

www.mycarebudget.org

So far we have over 70 documents that can be downloaded – all of them useful for anyone that holds or needs a care budget, especially if it is used to employ staff. We started out from Personal Health Budgets in England but the documents are not limited in any way to PHBs, or to any country.

All the documents came from people with lived experience of running a care budget. The website has been created with people with lived experience. There’s no corporation or health authority running it.

www.mycarebudget.org is a wiki – so it grows by people adding and editing to it. All the input (apart from the discussion forum) is checked before being published, so we can add some confidence in what appears there.

The idea is that you can browse the wiki without creating an account, but you will need an account to download or edit the wiki. No charge, no need for any credit cards – it works just like Wikipedia.

www.mycarebudget.org is a website that holds templates, policy guides, links and lots more that help you run a care budget, especially if you employ staff. It has been created by people with lived experience of running a Personal Health Budget (PHB) in England.
Go and have a look! No need to register to browse and download. if you do register, we can stay in contact and you can upload your own documents to help others.
