A successful week helping others, done and dusted 💪

We have had 4 important meetings this week with multi agency professionals and social services so we can help more people across the North East who need a specialist element of help within their home.

We can proudly confirm I will now be running home hygiene and organisation sessions with our partner Mind charity for their service users, as well as service users within the drug and alcohol rehabilitation sector.

Specialist cleaning 🧼 and organisation can be difficult, and can seem like a real hurdle for those that need it most.

We are always on hand and available to those who require it. Additionally, we are available for any panel meetings for organisations who need a cleaning expert to help advise.

Our Story ☺️♥️

Due to an increase in new followers I thought we should hop on and introduce ourselves and a little bit of CAAW history.

I’m Faye (in the middle) and I started Clean As A Whistle in 2017 after my Mam was cleaning and I needed some extra income to help me out as a young Mam with a baby boy.

My target was to make £50 per week.

The business started to grow almost immediately, and I took a leap of faith and took on some staff and more clients. I decided I really wanted to go in to mental health support and completed my very first Biohazard training, primarily decomposition and bodily fluid clean ups. I sharp realised this is where my passion lay and we could make a huge difference to people who need it most!

Around 3 years ago Laura (right) who was working with us as a part time cleaner, whilst working full time hours as a carer took the opportunity to leave her caring career (which she has a lot of experience working with dementia, and vulnerable people) and join us as manager. Since Laura joined us, the business has double, tripple, quadrupled in size year on year and we now run cleans for thousands of clients and an all mighty team of cleaning operatives throughout the North East.

Last year, Joanne (left) joined as assistant manager and the girls run the business day to day alongside our other operations staff Katy (Biohazard client manager) , Amanda (accounts manager) and Nisha (customer service)

We now have the incredibly privileged position of the UKs BEST domestic cleaning company, and have contracts with councils, social services and NHS to carry out their specialist cleaning.

We have our own shop which is open 7 days per week and we have created, and will continue to create hundreds of jobs across the North East.

All from incredibly humble beginnings.

As the business progresses, I now spend a lot of my time mentoring and training other cleaning companies in business progression, I have my own training academy for Biohazardous and Specialist cleans whilst the girls work hard to run a tight ship here at CAAW HQ.

I can’t wait to see where will be in another 6 years. 🎉

How do I know if I need a biohazard clean?
We offer all types of cleaning so we will visit the property to ascertain what work needs to be carried out. If there is a biohazard risk we will inform you and give a quote to restore the property. If there are no biohazard risks we will quote for a standard deep clean!

We also work with clients with a low immune system due to cancer treatment or health conditions. We can ensure their home is sanitised and safe to prevent further complications.
