So I got to call it…

Firstly, the events I trade at are reasonable and their business is massively appreciated! Thank you so much! ❤️ If you see me, know that my little business is valued by them.

However, this will be my last year of trading as a mobile unit. Some (not all) event fees are just not affordable (and some are quite astonishing) for what I serve and I must think of the bigger picture going forwards.

Unfortunately, this is just not a sustainable business in its current form and profitable opportunities are becoming increasingly hard to find.

It’s all good though. I’ve learnt loads and I always had bigger dreams. This part of the journey was never meant to be permanent! ✨🪷✨

Tribe Street Coffee is excited for the future and values absolutely every one of you (people are not just customers) and I love the beautiful events I continue to trade at. Much love to you lovely humans!

As well as outstanding Tynemouth Coffee and excellent whole-leaf Storm Tea, we’ll also be serving up a limited amount of FULL POWER CACAO (as seen on Dragons Den recently). Their ceremonial grade cacao is fully plant based, nutriously dense, exceptional quality. It really is absolutely delicious and full of good vibes! 🤎

A little intro: I’m David, a self-confessed closet hippy. Big heart, no filter! Moved back to good ole blighty 🇬🇧 a couple of years ago to pursue this. It’s been a labour of love. And not an easy gig to make a living from.

I serve only the best brews. Always local. Sourced from some of this regions finest artisan producers. 🤎

Inevitably though, Tribe Street Coffee is now approaching a crossroads.

I would love to own a space where people come to enjoy the vibe 🤓. Not just another cafe. A place where people connect, play board games with strangers, hug without fear, read real books instead of fakebook. Come together for early morning cacao meditations. Jam. Chant. Kick off their shoes. Read poetry over the mic. Dance freely. Contemplate life over an organic tea or just enjoy a damn fine cup of coffee in comfortable solitude.

Inspired by the kinds of places I’ve visited whilst on my backpacking travels. 🌎

Words are useless without positive intentions to make it happen, so dreaming bigger and manifesting it. 🙏🏼✨

Had a fantastic first few days serving in the Christmas Village Northern Lights Newcastle . I’ll be away to Teesside for their annual light trail extravaganza in Stewart Park, but I’m back in the Toon to continue from Monday 4th Dec!

Don’t miss my brews too much. Urban Green are on the trail serving cracking brews and the bar serves hot chocolate too.
