Flying start this week on the latest landscape, was going great until rained off yesterday when I would’ve had help so that cost me two days labour. Going well today and now another heavy shower to slow me down.
If you’re waiting for work, this is why I have such a backlog. apart from having so much work on the books. I’m at the mercy of the weather and it’s time I don’t get back. I can’t make it up. I can’t work than I aready do at 6 days a week. Its a waiting game unfortunately.

Another Monday another landscape started.
Two weeks for this one.
My never diminishing backlog keeps coming!!

So I’ve once again waved my magic wiggly landscape stick to produce this one over the last two weeks .
All stripped out, hedges lawns , reinforced concrete base , waste etc
Fences up two sides
Raised patio area
Shed base with path
Stone edge round maple tree
Gravel along edges
100m of turf laid properly on good soil .

Well despite Easter bank holidays, loads of rain and me having whooping cough for the last 4 weeks and counting… I’ve completed the latest full garden makeover.
Complete strip out
New fences on two sides
Spin and relocate shed
New raised patio
New patio in front of house
Raised beds
Levelled and new turf installed

Latest one done. Well phase 1 anyway, patio to install at a later date.
sloping garden split levelled, 8 tonne out, 13 tonne in, plus raised sleeper beds and a big 5x7m artificial lawn, the step is getting paved so just got a strip of grass on it for now

Couple of littler recent jobs.
Pave some steps to tie in with two patios I completed last year.
Elsewhere , rip out some rotten conifers and install a 9m 6ft fence in their place .

Todays tear out.
Full tidy up and ivy covered fence removed .
Pics don’t even show the van full of tree I removed from the left hand side of the garden.
3 van loads in total removed

25m fence completed these last few days.
Some hard digging into concrete .
7m alongside the garage just new boards , then the upper 18m totally new fence .

Midweek job.
Now you see it, now you don’t !!

Another storm repair complete

I like having a range of work and projects available, there’s usually something I can get on with regardless of the weather.
This weeks freezing conditions were a little adverse so I had this dig out job to get on with .
Remove the lawn area and walling , 3 skips 20 tonne.
Then install sleeper retainer and membrane and gravel to extend the front driveway area.
The true colour of the gravel will come through with rain. I usually hose the quarry dust off but considering the icy conditions , not a good idea to create a skate rink
I have outsourced someone to supply and install a set of posh gates for the client too.

7.5m 3ft fence with capping today .
Quite enjoyed it

Now’s the time to get a quote for work, landscaping, fencing, paving, grounds maintenance etc.
I fill up my bookings quickly this time of year and work with a healthy backlog so get in quick.
Commercial and private work undertaken.
99% of my work comes from recommendations and I’m very proud of that .

Last landscape of the year complete.
All turf and paving out.
Sleeper retainer installed to level off the garden.
The before pics don’t really show the slope but the after pics give you an idea.
20 tonnes of topsoil brought in to build up the level and give drainage to the new lawn.
Border left for future planting.
Gravel on the lower tier.
All done

The latest project completed this last fortnight.
Rear garden in a state from extension building work.
Split levelled, patio, lawn and path installed.
Raised sleeper beds fitted too.

When you get paid for a job and you get a nice note like this.

Nice 4 day job for a lovely lady. She had numerous trip hazards and loose tiles. Removed everything paved with Indian sandstone and built 3 new steps. Paved round conservatory to finish.
Shame it’s taken 7 actual days with rain and storms! Again! ☔️☔️

Even raining now as I’m loading to leave, just for one last soaking 🤦‍♂️

12m fence put up today. Got posts in late yesterday when dry, then screwed it all together when it wasn’t .
When you’re soaked to the skin in the first 5 minutes, you can’t get any wetter!
