Just a quick post about collections-everyone should have had a message about the collection slot being between 11am-3pm today. You can turn up at any time between these hours. Could I politely remind everyone to please stick to the collection times, as per my terms and conditions, any late collections or no shows will not be refunded and cannot be guaranteed a different collection date. I have a couple of spare boxes of cookies for Santa to collect tomorrow in Newport or Christmas Eve in Ledbury. £4.50 per box, any orders must be paid for today, and collections in Newport are between 11am-3pm tomorrow 🎅🏻🍪

Tomorrow is the last day to order for Christmas! The brownie Yule log is the perfect thing for anyone panicking last minute about what to do for dessert! The bags or boxes of fudge are fab for little gifts that you may have forgotten to buy, and the Cookies for Santa are a guaranteed way to make Christmas Eve magical for the little ones 🎅🏻🍪

I have a selection of blondies and brownies that I’m selling for £1.50 each!! They’re normally £2.85 each, so you’ll be saving just under 48% on each! 🤯 These bakes have been frozen, so can’t be refrozen once you’ve purchased, but the taste and texture isn’t affected at all by freezing (and trust me, I’ve done a LOT of taste tests! 😂). These are available to preorder today for collection on Saturday 2nd or Sunday 3rd. Full payment must be made in advance to order. Please note that none of these bakes are suitable for nut allergy sufferers due to being packaged with bakes that contain hazelnuts.

I’ll be at the Christmas shopping evening at The Hive next Friday with lots of other wonderful makers ☺️

With just over a week to go until our Christmas Shopping Evening on Friday 8th December, we thought it was time to tell you who is joining us!

Live music is being provided by The Blessed Crow, a local folk duo whose music always provides the perfect background to our festivities.

Regular trader Fizzy Redds Handcrafted with their fabulous hand turned wooden gifts and accessories is back, as is Taslima Maya Art and her beautiful artwork. Qualified therapists, Mind & Mood Therapy Boxes are joining us with their well thought out gift boxes to help boost wellbeing. Potter extraordinaire, Melanie Made Mud will be showcasing her hand thrown ceramic cups, mugs, bowls and tiles as well as her majestic whale sculptures. Sunflower Creations (https://www.facebook.com/sunflowercreationsbespokecrafts) will be joining us with her unique decoupaged gifts. Jess from Kaleidoscope Creations Cardiff is back with her bold and bright tie dyed clothing and accessories, much of which is saved from landfill and given a new, colourful lease of life. We're really happy to have Fox & Cub with us too! Susan makes the most adorable children's clothes and accessories. And finally, the sweet toothed among us will be very happy to see Robyn’s Bakes with her indulgent brownies, cookie pies and other treats!

In addition, The Hive will be open and you will be welcome to browse (and buy!) and we will have a craft table set up for the children too.

I really need to take a better picture of the gin and tonic fudge 😂🙈 Terrible picture aside, it tastes fantastic! Bags or cute little gift boxes of fudge are available to order for collection on the 23rd in Newport and the 24th in Ledbury. They start at £3.25, perfect for those little gifts or stocking fillers that won’t break the bank! Happy Halloween! No Halloween baking from me this year, so here’s a throwback to a cake I did 3 years ago! (Second photo is the customer photo that puts my awful photography skills to shame!) We managed to run out of sweets for trick or treaters in 25 minutes this year! Must buy more next year 🤦🏼‍♀️ 🎃
