💫💫 We are delighted to announce that with all of the generosity and support before Christmas from our children, parents, staff and other family members that Chatterbox successfully donated a total of £550.00 to Daisy Lodge, Cancer fund for Children 🌻🌻

🌈🌈 We done this by raising awareness of this amazing charity during “Christmas jumper week” 👕🎄 Well done to everyone and thank you all for all your support as always 👏🏻

What a great day we had at our grotto with a very special visitor. We hope all the kids had lots of fun seeing Santa 🎄🎁 only 3 more sleeps ✨🎅🏽

We are delighted to share with everyone that we gathered a fantastic total of 84 shoe boxes to donate to those children is need of something special this Christmas. We would like to thank all of our children, families and staff for their hard work in putting all of the shoeboxes together. We are totally overwhelmed with your kind generosity as always.

Hi everyone,

As some of you may already know a very good friend of ours called Ellie was sadly diagnosed with a brain tumour in August 2021, a lot of Ellie’s friends and family have come together to do some fundraising for Ellie’s family. Some of the Chatterbox staff and a lot of others in our community are taking part in Belfast marathon relay this coming May. There is a lot of fundraising taking place at the minute including a table quiz night which takes place Saturday 2nd April 2022 in the Mourne Golf Club Newcastle. On the night this will include a raffle with some very exciting prices. The nursery is now selling raffle tickets for this is anyone would like to make a purchase. Please ask a member of staff for more information.

We are super proud of our 3-5s today after receiving certificates from Mini First Aid Armagh, South Down & Louth by completing an early years first aid class this afternoon.

MFA Ted is super excited about going to Chatterbox Day Nursery to help deliver the first Early Years first aid class of 2022! Looking forward to teaching the boys and girls about first aid and who to call in an emergency ⛑

We are overwhelmed with all of the contributions received towards our shoe box appeal 2021. Last week we delivered 108 shoe boxes to Samaritans Purse in Belfast 🎁🎁🎁

These boxes will be delivered to boys and girls ranging from 2-14 years and we are delighted that we may have been part of putting a smile on some children's faces this Christmas 🤶🏻🎄

We would like to thank all of our parents, children, staff and other parties outside of the nursery for supporting this cause 👏🏻

Last night our staff took part in first aid training delivered by Caroline Boyd. This training was aimed at continuing our professional development within our daily roles and responsibilities of looking after all the children in our care.

We focused on topics such as; CPR, choking, bumps, breaks, burns, bleeding, febrile seizures and meningitis awareness.

It was an extremely enjoyable evening and very beneficial for all of the staff. We highly recommend Caroline's training course, especially for anyone who would like to improve their confidence in first aid awareness.
