I often hear people say they cannot π«£ , sorry π Here is something anyone can do using pencils, pens, crayons, pastels .... List is endless as your imagination π§
All I have done here is trace the shadows the dappled light cast over my sketchbook and started shading it in; at some stage the piece takes over for me and then it is just about the sheer joy of creation π§ππ«ΆβοΈ

Many years ago I painted a feild of wheat, with wild poppies scattered across it's entire expansd. This is a sight we saw on the farm in Norfolk every year, during August. The original oil painting was purchased by one of my cousins, but was lost in life's journey; so I dedicate this to Sarah, to replace the original, with all my love β€οΈ

Do you know, how some days, you look at the clock and think - how on earth is it that time of day already - well I've had that kind of day, for some reason π«£ but finally took some imagines of some of the I did last night, which I do enjoy; I mixed it up with for the quick poses and then a for the last long pose.
Looking forward to this evening and recieved this photo of last weeks session from tbe organiser (and one of the models); I have my back to the camera focusing on drawing π€£π¨π«ΆβοΈ
Another afternoon up on the moors painting π¨ and took a walk up to Bone Hill and then back to the village
Marvellous session this evening π«Ά and includes poses of 30, 180, 300, 600, 1800 seconds and the last two are 20 minutes (which AI have to admit to enjoying more). Life drawing is like an an hour, a discipline one must do to feel complete π€·π«Άπ¨
Spent the day painting within a small area that I know well, as used to take a Ralphie walking here; it was just so nice to spend a few hours surrounded by nature π± π¨ππ

Fine Artist
Studied fine art at Norwich (Foundation) & Exeter School of Art (BA Hons). Become a father and started my professional career, before in decided to embark on building my own software company in 2002. My ambition was to follow Francis Bacon and make enough money to be able to retire and focus on art, but life doesnβt always go to plan ...
Now at a stage in my life where I want to return to my roots and spend more time painting. I am a keen hill walker and live on the edge of Dartmoor in South Devon, so have ample inspiration for landscape painting.
Watch my progress as I struggle to balance running a thriving business and find time to paint. Whilst at art school I worked with acrylic, etching, lithograph, screen printing & water-colours.
