Coffee@Carey have offered to make up 60 Santa Stockings for children in Northampton, who have recently been homeless or have fled from domestic violence.
We've been blown away by peoples generosity so far!
However, we would love any of the following listed in the picture to help make these stocking interactive and fun for these children.
We can often think of these items as ‘annoying party bag bits’ but for some whose parents can’t afford to take their children to parties, or they’re not invited as friendships are hard to make when these children are afraid people will ask too many questions about their home life…. These simple items, opened on Christmas morning, will connect them with the world the rest of us have taken for granted ❤️🎄

Looking forward to seeing what delicious decorated bakes we have this coming week for our Junior Bake Off competition. 7 and under start things off tomorrow Monday 25th Oct with 6 decorated biscuits 🍪 Remember all entries need to be delivered to the Coffee Shop by 10am for judging to start at 10:15 Good Luck bakers 👍🏻🤞🏻

After the mini heatwave we’ve had, the weather is soon to turn into those crisp early mornings with crunchy leaves under foot 🍂🍁 So this year, why not start decorating your home with those autumnal colours 🏡 We also have some wonderful autumnal themed Pop up shops in the coffee shop this October. To start everything off, on Monday (27th sept) we have homemade Autumn bunting cards and beautiful handmade bunting ready for your mantlepieces and windows ❤️ See you all soon 🥰

Coffee @ Carey are running a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 24th September 9-12! It’s such an amazing charity that I hope we’ll see you there. If you enjoy a spot of baking please bring along your tasty treats to sell. There will be a raffle and some special items to buy during the morning (more detail to come) 🤩 All proceeds will go to Macmillan including coffee shop takings 👍🏻
Starting from Monday 6th September 🗓 No need to book! FREE entry ❤️ By car: Access is easier by parking in the coffee shop car park. Walking: if from the car park - walk down the road and following the path round the back of the chapel and come on in. Library is 1st door on the left. You can also access Story Time and Tots from the Coffee Shop entrance.
We’re making changes!!! We all know that getting the children ready for school in the morning can be a military operation and a mad rush!!!!! That’s why we have decided to now open earlier each day, ready for all of you to reward yourself with sit down, coffee and a Tea Cake breakfast 😋 Looking forward to seeing you all on Monday ❤️ P.S. no need to tell the children where you’re going 🤫
