MadebyMillie is a local business which provides homemade, american style cookies and baked goods. 🍪

We recently tried out the cookies and were amazed at how gooey, flavourful and delicious they were. They taste exactly like cookie dough bursting with your desired chocolate bar flavour.

Millie offers a variety of baked goods ranging from cookies, cookie slabs and cookie pies. She offers local delivery services and also nationwide!

Make sure to support her business by testing out some of her products, you most certainly will not be disappointed!😍

The Paddock Pantry is a converted horsebox which serves a variety of homemade sweet treats, hot drinks and snacks.🧁🧋

The business was formed around 6 months ago and works with a varierty of small business suppliers by stocking their products.

The drinks range from lattes, teas to even a puppucino for your four-legged friends to enjoy!🐶

We enjoyed some tasty milkshakes and homemade baked goods from the paddock pantry and throughly enjoyed them. This business is one to not miss!

The paddock pantry will be attending the Harpole Scarecrow event this weekend, so make sure to pay them a visit!👨‍🌾

📍Matchbox Cafe, Northampton

A cosy, local cafe is the Matchbox Cafe. They have a small menu however it most certainly does not disappoint!

I recently popped in for some lunch and was amazed by the little things such as the cookie with my drink, local products such as a magazine and paintings being sold and the attention to detail in the decor.

If you are looking for somewhere new to go for breakfast or lunch, then why not try the Matchbox Cafe!😊

Collective 13 Clothing is an independent, local men's clothing store specialising in suits, retro and iconic brand clothing. The store opened its doors in Late november 2021. Located in the heart of Daventry, this store is definitely one to visit!🤵

Inside the store you will notice a wooden design theme, this sustainable wood is locally sourced from Northamptonshire to give the appeal of an industrial and on trend feel.

There are several brands sold in the store including suits from Marc Darcy, John White and Remus Uomo. You will also find brands such as Fila, Lois, Farah, Abicii, Diadora and more! Collective 13 Clothing also supports mens charities through the sales of their bollox boxers.

The store focuses heavily on their suits, they have a Dads and Lads concept where they will match suits for a father and son to wear. They have a variety of suits, waist coats, shirts and accessories to mix and match to create your own perfect suit. 👔

Make sure you visit their store on the Daventry High Street as this store is one not to miss!

Kislingbury Sunnies & Spooks!🌻🎃

Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting the newly established sunflower and pumpkin patch located in the rural village of Kislingbury.

They offer locally sourced flowers, produce and merchandise. This is also a great idea for something to do with the family this summer! There are various activities such as a story time session, refreshments and also small farm toys to play with!

There were hundreds of fresh and healthy sunflowers alongside plenty of wild flowers! You can purchase 3 Sunflower stems for £5.50 and add some wild flowers for an additional £4.

Something we really appreciated about the farm was how they were using the sunflowers which had been cut and not used, or ones which had died early, to dry them out to create decorations for your house or even eat the seeds yourself!🌻

The idea of a sunflower patch is also great for bees, there many variations of bees on the sunflowers which helps the flowers produce more seed! You can also purchase some of their homemade honey when you visit!🐝

Also in October, the pumpkins will be available to pick! So make sure you follow their social media channels to get regular updates!!🎃

We cannot wait to go back in October to support this local small business!

La Terraza Tapas Bar is located in Upton which specialises in authentic Spanish cuisine.🍲

We recently tried the tapas for the first time, we had a few items which were freshly prepared by spanish chefs!🧑‍🍳

A personal favourite of ours was the stuffed cream cheese peppers!🫑

Definitely worth paying them a visit!😊

The other week, we visited the Coffee Press which is located in the St James area. They recently announced their all-day breakfast menu which caters to all dietary requirements!🥑

We decided to try their eggs bennedict (without the bacon to make it vegetarian) and their breakfast wrap which includes: bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages and cheese.🍽

The breakfast most certainly did not disappoint! We were extremely excited to try the new menu and we would definitely go back to try the other items!😍

If you're in the area, make sure to pop in for a breakfast!!

Some of the food we had at the Watling Street Village in Towcester. The food was full of flavour and the service was fast and efficient. Would definitely go there again!😍

Saffron is located on Castillian Street in central Northampton. They serve authentic indian food which can be tailored to suit your needs.

The food was on another level, bursting with flavour and overall extremely tasty - for such an affordable price point, we were extremely suprised with how delicious it was.😍

Saffron really exceeded my expectations! Myself and my friends & family were blown away by the professionality of each team member that served us, we were treated as though we were royalty.

I highly recommend Saffron visiting this extroadinary restaurant, it is the perfect place for any occasion!⭐️

The Saracen's Head offers a great Sunday menu with roast dinner options for meat lovers, vegetarians and vegans! They also have tasty puddings which are hard to resist if you have a sweet tooth!

Cream Tea at Fawsley🫖🍰

Have you been to Fawsley for Cream Tea? If not, you are really missing out! The food was fresh, homemade and extremely delicious! (The scones in particular were super fluffy and light!!)

The whole building is full of historic amenities which made our visit worth while. If you are a fan of historical architecture and paintings then you will be pleasantly suprised!

Burgernspuds is a small business located on the Wellingborough Road in Northampton town centre.

Their food is locally sourced from businesses in Northamptonshire and from around the UK.

Every item on the menu is freshly prepared for each order, their chips are made from scratch in the kitchen!🥔

Burgernspuds message is that they want to sell high quality food for a reasonable, affordable price. They want to be different and unique whilst serving food for everyone to enjoy!

The food that we ordered was bursting with flavour and the chips were one of our favourite items!😍

Ciao Gian Biaz!🍝

Gian Biaz is a traditional Italian restaurant located on the Wellingborough Road in central Northampton.

They serve a range of pasta, meat and fish dishes which are freshly prepared in the kitchen for each order.🥩

The restaurant has low ambient lighting giving it a cosy, warm and relaxed enivornment -perfect for a date night!❤️

I highly recommend visiting Gian Biaz, their staff are extremely welcoming and kind and the service is 5 stars!⭐️

Milkshakes Galore!🥤

Recently, we visited Jamaica Blue for the first time at Rushden Lakes and we were most certainly not disappointed!

We ordered a variety of meals including a Veggie breakfast and an egg bagel, the food tasted as good as it looked!🍳😍

The best part about our experience were the milkshakes, they were sweet, thick and full of flavour! Definitely worth a try when you are next visiting Rushden Lakes!

One of the cosiest coffee bars in Northamptonshire is Hobbs Coffee Bar!☕️

This little hidden gem is located in rural Towcester and has a variety of coffees, sweet treats, breakfast and lunch options to pick from.

My experience at the coffee bar was excellent, the staff were incredibly kind and the service was quick and efficient. I highly reccomend visiting them as their business is extremely underrated!😍

They're also Dog Friendly! So make sure to pop in with your furry friends to treat them to a puppuccino!🐶🐾
