It’s getting to that time of year again! If you would like to enter to be in with a chance of winning a £40 Pooch Patrol voucher all you have to do is make a donation to a charity that’s very close to my heart

Every year we manage to make an amazing amount for Christmas for the wonderful work they do rescuing animals in need.

I started this about 7 years ago as I was always spoilt with cards & gifts of chocolate and wine and it was such a substantial amount that it took me so long to get through 😆 I suggested we put all of that into fundraising for a better cause and here we are years on (I must do a total of what we’ve raised so far!)

If you’d like to enter or if you’re in a position to make a donation as a gesture please contact me to add to the fundraising pot 😊 You don’t have to be an existing customer to enter, it’s open to anyone!

If you’d just like to make a donation and you’re not too fussed about entering the competition - whatever the amount any would be welcomed..every penny adds up!

It’s been a while since the last post so it’s just a little “I’m still here” - Just a couple of walks a week and mainly days filled with dog grooming 🐾

So here’s a snap from todays gorgeous autumnal walk… we can just about spot Bobs in the background 😬 🐶

Milo & Kanu post pamper 🥰 These two are so adorable together! Dogs that live in the same household often book in to come together - otherwise it’s a one dog in and one dog out policy which some pooches (and owners!) prefer 🐾

We totalled £375 this month for Many Tears Animal Rescue - huge thank you to everyone! ♥️

In place of my annual Christmas Raffle, I know times are tough so decided against it. I will however be making a donation of what I would usually offer as the prize. If anyone would like to contribute a Christmas donation of any spare change even if it’s pennies it all adds up! I will have a jar by the back gate or if you wish to transfer feel free & let me know so I can send it across with my donation 😊

It’s that time of year again! Please encourage people to think before they take the dog out in this heat.. or worse, leaving them in the car..

❗️🌞 Due to the heat and the continued forecast in this gorgeous weather I have cancelled walks. (After seeing far too many posts on social media relating to irresponsible owners taking dogs out “for just 10 minutes” - that really is all that it takes!)

❗️ 🐾 It is NOT safe to walk a dog in this heat!

❗️ 💦 Stay at home, keep them cool and shaded with plenty of water!

You know how I love to encourage doing as much research as possible on breed & breeders - this little girls owners did just that! If you choose not to get a rescue, making sure your money is funding a reputable breeder is the best way to go - for you and the animals welfare 🐾♥️

To get them all to look at you when there’s squirrels to be chased and scents to be followed… it’s a high expectation!

Time for a break over Christmas for Pooch Patrol.. it’s also a time for me to say goodbye to some of my dog walking customers. Mixed emotions making the decision to reduce walks - sometimes you have to take a leap and this is a jump in that direction for me.. but I will miss the big personalities and little quirks of them all!

Huge thank you to everyone who’s supported me in my 8th (EIGHTH! 😮) year of Pooch Patrol. What started as a favour & help to someone 8 years ago turned into A LOT of walking (I wonder how many poos I’ve picked up in that time 🤣).. now my days are mostly dog grooming. Every year is different and so is every day - that’s why I love it! Privileged to be chosen by you all - past & current customers & pooches 🐾♥️
