My new portfolio is very nearly there 🙌 Just got to add in the missing newsletter editions and then it's ready to go public. Not much in the way of new functionality to talk about though, it's mainly been a complete design overhaul this time. 😅
Added a new feature to my website today; a live view count for each blog and newsletter post page. Every time the page loads, the number is incremented by one. 🔼 Built using AWS CDK with AppSync/DynamoDB & Next.js API Routes. 🙌

Got a small but necessary feature added to the website (pending release) 😅 A custom 404 page so the user isn't sent to a blank page but instead has options to navigate back to other pages with content on or contact me if they think it's an error seeing the 404.

Personal Webiste Update 💻 Integrated a working contact form using Next.js serverless functions, AWS Lambdas and SES 🙌
Personal Website Update 💻 Got the home hero section designed and developed. 🙌 Bit different to the original design but I think it's better now. 😅
Personal Website Update 🛠️ Mobile Header and Navigation are now in place and working, not much to go now. 🙌
Personal Website Update 🛠️ The blog page is pretty much complete now, the tag/category pages are now implemented with pagination. 🙌 Just got some missing post descriptions to add in and update some images. 😄
Personal Website Update 👨🏼💻 The UI of the Contact page is complete, just need to add the form submission logic to the contact form and it's complete. 🙌 P.S. Ignore the god awful header in this gif, it's an open issue to resolve 😅
Personal Website Update 👨🏼💻 Added a sticky sidebar to each post to let the reader jump about the post and copy links to different headers in the post. Also, included a newsletter sign up form and social share buttons unique to each post. 🙌
Personal Website Update 👨🏼💻 Implemented pagination to my Nextjs blog for my posts, all rendered statically at build time 🙌 Also, sneak page of the sidebar, and the upcoming other pages I'm going to create for filtering. 👀
Personal Website Update 🛠️ The design of the website is coming along, got the home page header section to make and then add in the missing blog posts. Once the initial version of the site is out, I'm adding in a dark mode as well. 😍
