Dog reactivity can be complex and, at times, overwhelming, creating barriers to enjoying time out with your dog. Not every pup can walk along the street stress-free, or see other people, dogs, or cars without an emotional response. Many dog owners have never experienced living with a reactive dog, dealing with triggers, and the aftermath that follows.

Reactive dogs may become overly aroused by common stimuli. They might lunge, bark, or growl, becoming so overwhelmed by their emotions that it's hard to calm them down or remove them from the situation. Often, this is due to fear. Reactivity can come from many factors: genetics (like extreme herding behaviours), past negative experiences, lack of socialisation or training, or simply their environment.

At Wagdale, we’re dedicated to offering a peaceful, private space where dogs can explore without the triggers that often overwhelm them. That's why it's crucial to arrive at your scheduled time—not early. We also ask that you leave the field promptly. We request that you exit the field at either 25 past or 5 to the hour. This means there is a 5 minute window between guests. If you do arrive early and have quiet dogs you can park in our new waiting area, but please drive nose forward (do not turn around until the previous guests have vacated the site). This helps us provide our reactive dog guests with the quiet, calm space they need to feel safe and comfortable.

Let’s all respect these guidelines and ensure every dog gets the stress-free time they deserve at Wagdale 🫶

We're thrilled to introduce a fantastic new deal for you! Buy 9 sessions at Wagdale and get the 10th one FREE 🎉✨ (only on our 55 minute sessions). It's our way of saying thank you for your continued support and giving you more opportunities for fun-filled adventures with your furry pals 🫶

In addition please note, starting on the 17th June, the price for our 25-minute sessions will increase slightly. This is to help cover the costs of increased poo patrols and admin fees, ensuring that we keep Wagdale clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone 🧹🐕

We’ve had lots of lovely new furry friends join us at Wagdale, plus we’ve changed everting the field so we just wanted to keep everyone on the same page 🙌

Wagdale Rules:

1. Enter at Your Allocated Time: We know you’re excited to get started, but please enter the site at your allocated time. If you arrive early, kindly take a short detour until your time slot. Remember, some of our furry visitors are reactive and need their space.

2. Pick Up Your Poos: Let’s keep Wagdale sparkling clean! While we understand that some poos might get missed, we appreciate your vigilance in picking up after your pup. Every little bit helps!

3. Exiting the Site: As your fun session wraps up, make sure to shut the gate behind you at 5 to or 25 past the hour. We need a clear field for the next visitors to avoid any unexpected doggy meet-and-greets.

4. Spread the Word: If you’ve brought along friends or family, please ensure they’re aware of these rules too. We all need to be on the same page to keep Wagdale a safe and happy place.

5. Have Fun! Last but not least, enjoy every moment. Wagdale is designed to be a haven where dogs can run free and have a blast. Make the most of your time here!

Meet the amazing women behind both Wagdale and Wag Trail and Train! 🐾📣

Rebecca, the owner of , and Beth, the owner of , have turned their passion and love for dogs into businesses that support dog parents in and around Norwich 📍 Rebecca’s Wagdale offers a safe, fun space for dogs to exercise and explore, while Beth’s Wag Trail and Train provides excellent dog care and walking services. Their dedication ensures that every dog has the best experience possible!
