These are remanufactured replacement parcel shelf cords for the Clio MK1.

Genuine items are no longer available and over time they loose their elasticity and begin to sag and hang outside the tailgate / boot.

These use a similar snap / lock end cap and have been machine stitched where they fit on the plastic hooks.

Made from new multi fibre shock cord they retain their shape and work much better.

Genuine items are no longer available and over time the printed circuit carbon can damage and cause issues with the running of the car. So I teamed up with Vassilis Angelopoulos and a manufacturer to create new ones.

Fitting is exactly the same. Set up on your car is made simple with the calibration adapter and instructions provided.

This bracket is prone to damage. When tensioner pulley nut is loosened but the internal nut that should slide freely is seized due to corrosion. As more force is applied the aluminium teeth get stripped.

Renault later rectified this problem by replacing the teeth. But it's still important to make sure the inner nut moves freely.

As this bracket is quite rare I thought I'd provide a how to guide for anyone wishing to replicate the genuine repair Renault did.

Alternatively I'm happy to provide an exchange service for £150 plus postage. ⚙️ 🧰

Auxiliary belt bracket replacement Guide no.9
It's possible to replace this whilst the engines in the car.

I had to replace mine due to the teeth stripped by the previous owner.

Genuine Klaxton horns corrode deep inside the unit until the piezo buzzer becomes seized and inoperative.
Solution. Source a set of MKII 172 Klaxton horns and refurbish.

Throttle Position Sensors can fail and it's near impossible to find replacement units. I've seen some sell for a whopping £250!!!

So for the past few weeks and with the help of a few people on the Clio Williams forums I'm pleased to announce I'll be offering a complete repair service for these units.

Each service/repair has the following:
• Wires replaced with a new 18AWG silicone wire
• Fully checked with existing units and ohms values
• New socket pins
• All units can be fully serviced inside.
• Units are resealed with no damage

Please note: Wiring is not the only reason why these can simply fail. So as part of my repair I am also able to repair the internal PCB as well.

Price is £68 and includes returned tracked postage.
