I’m thrilled to share that we’ve raised over £1,000 for Dementia UK! Which also means I’ll be taking the leap (literally) from 15,000 feet during our opening ceremony. No nerves... honestly!

The Cosplay Catwalk applications are now live!

Whether it’s your first time or you’re a veteran, the Cosplay Catwalk is your chance to showcase your cosplay and creativity, but most importantly, have fun!

No matter if your costume is handmade or bought, from popular series or original characters, everyone gets a chance to shine. This is not a competition, but rather a celebration of our incredible cosplay community, so no judging will be required.

Whether you choose to enter solo or with a group, you will have 60 seconds to take the spotlight!

KokoroCon's fundraiser for Dementia UK Help KokoroCon UK raise money to support Dementia UK

Things are really starting to pick up in preparation for Kokoro Con 4. It's looking to be the biggest and best one ever!

But in order to pull this off, we need your help. Not just in getting Alex (Chairman) pushed out of a plane, but in making sure the con runs smoothly and ensuring you all stay safe throughout the weekend.

Gopher sign-ups are now open for any attendees who can give some time to us over the weekend of KokoroCon to help make sure the panels, events, and parties run as smoothly as possible.

If you do sign up, you'll find we have regular calls in the build up to the con to discuss the timetable, run through planning, and sometime just to hang out and play games together through the winter. The Head of Gophers will keep in touch to work out what panels and events you want to be involved with, and make sure you know what we need from you before you even set foot in the con.

Even if you can only gopher for a small amount of time such as assisting with a handful of panels you were planning to attend anyway, will make a huge impact for everyone attending.

As always, gophering is only available to existing attendees with tickets, and we will not be able to offer attendance to this convention in exchange for gophering hours if you aren't already attending the event.

That's right! Johnny Gioeli of Crush 40 will be attending KokoroCon 4. He will perform on the Sunday, featuring all of Crush 40's greatest hits, from "Live and Learn" to "Sonic Heroes."

Johnny will be at KokoroCon the entire weekend, participating in panels, interacting with fans, and even judging our talent show!

As the dynamic force behind Crush 40 for over 20 years and a member of other bands, including his 90s band "Hardline," Johnny's presence is sure to be a highlight.

This is a very rare appearance and we can't wait to welcome Johnny to KokoroCon!

KokoroCon 4 : Special announcement Another big announcement is coming your way! what could it be?

As many of you know, KokoroCon holds a formal ball each year giving you the chance to get dressed up in all your finery, and enjoy a beautiful dance with friends or loved ones.

For Kokoro 4, we're adding a twist! Our theme this year is "celebration", inspired by traditional Japanese matsuri festivals. We're excited to introduce the "Matsuri Ball" and would like to encourage everyone to wear a Kimono, Yukata, or any formal Japanese fashion.

Don’t worry if you can’t, dressing up is optional, but we’d love to see as many of you as possible embracing the theme!
