A quick design tip for you....
CURTAINS

When hanging your curtains keep in mind, the higher you hang them, the bigger your windows appear.

Hanging curtain from ceiling to floor elongates the wall therfore creating a more grand window appearance😍

Continuing from the bedroom, into a studio apartment.

Some like to have different design styles and colours for each separate room, but I much prefer a cohesive space. I like spaces to have their own little tweaks here and there but overall, is still part of the bigger picture.

I love using cement and wood materials in my designs🤩 There is somwthing about using natural materials with some ambient lights, that always creates a cosy and relaxing space

I love the freedom and ability you have to try out different looks for the same space without any commitment. Here is a very basic example of the same space with a simple change of colour.

"RULE OF 3" in Design

You may have heard about the rule of three within interior design, however this is not the be all, end all. Odd numbers such as 5, 7 and 9 are also more impactful than even numbers.

Play around with your accessories and note that they don't necessarily have to be identical either. Play with various shapes and sizes within the same accessory group!

So ready to be able to be able to set off like this again..... Sunshine is making an appearance again 🙌🏽

Project: A small office/ creative space

This was a fun project to do. Not only trying to make the space look good, but also making sure the items within it are practical for the purpose.

The amount of times a man has passed comment when they've seen me in my painting gear 🤣🤣.. silly mindset

This is Lauren. She’s a fully qualified electrician working for a large company. She spent five years doing an apprenticeship and knows the job inside out. But, despite this, she often gets abuse from customers and strangers. One man even stopped her in the street and shouted; “a female electrician, what has the world come to”, while others ask her if she’s even capable of getting the job done or lifting heavy things. But Lauren doesn’t let this hold her back. If anything it spurs her on. She’s now determined to prove that trade careers are not just for men - and hopes to inspire other young girls to pursue careers in the industry too. You go Lauren! 💪

Ps. You can see why rendering takes hours from the 2 images. You can see the pixel quality is much worse in the second image, as I didn't wait the full amount of time for it to complete rendering... patience.
