Storm played a difficult game against a very strong Newbies side and were unable to take the win this week.

Derby game for Lightning and Rain with Lightning taking the lead to remain top of the league.

Storm had a close game with Northend in Division 1 but managed to stay ahead for another win.

Thunder continue to gain their confidence in the league and put up a strong performance against former top of the league Team Raine.

Huge congratulations to Lightning who fought hard to beat Team Raine with some difficult defending from both teams Lightning stole the lead and maintained it for a win.

Storm as always powered ahead and gained a win against Rochdale Rubies.

Thunder continue to improve as the newest team in the league and although losing this week are gaining more traction every week and closing the score margins!

Rain did not play this week due to their opponents having to withdraw from the game.

• Derby game between Thunder and Rain showcased the improvements made week on week by the new Thunder side. Rain taking the win.

• Storm continued their strong start in the season to beat Ladybirds.

• Lightning also continued to show their consistency to secure another league win.

• Derby game between Lightning and Rain was a closely fought match with Lightning taking the win.

• Storm put in a great performance to beat Panthers.

• Thunder continue to develop as a new squad securing 7 goals against a very strong Team Raine.

Amid the pay dispute between Netball Australia and the Australian Netball Players Association where the players are pushing for a revenue-sharing model, the Australian Cricketers’ Association [ACA] have made an unprecedented move in offering financial support by forming a $200k “fighting fund” for the nations netballers.

"The ACA stands with the netballers and will do so until this campaign is successful," ACA CEO Todd Greenberg said.

The ACA have also encouraged other players' unions across multiple sports to offer similar support to the netballers, who have been officially off contract since September 30.

Some of our netballers took on a different kind of sport today in a charity rounders tournament for Oldham Mind. We managed to avoid the rain and had a great day with some great games played 🏐🏐🏆👏 Well done girls
