This months in the spotlight is York Racecourse.

We were thrilled to be asked to work on a project at such a historic venue.

The installation started off as two bar areas, and then expanded to include a stand extension. All installations were independently verified and passed inspection.

Another month over, 2024 is whizzing by!

This month we attended 8 different sites and installed 5 different membranes (applicable to the sites requirements).

Time to head in to May 🙂

This months in the spotlight is a college building.

Space and time were at a premium for this contract. We worked with our suppliers and contractors to ensure completion dates were met, without too many materials being delivered at any one time.

As we head in to the Easter weekend it's time for the March debrief.

This month our installation team has been busy installing various membranes across 12 sites.

This months in the spotlight is a Housing Development in Waverley.

This project took was started in 2019, had an unexpected pandemic related break in 2020, and was completed in 2023.

Over 150 houses (plus 2 apartment blocks) were completed by our install team using Industrial Textiles & Plastics Ltd Multigas 500.

Our inspection record was 100% with no issues reported.

Thankfully the weather has cooperated a bit more with everyone this month, lets hope it continues to do so!

This months in the spotlight is Kingsway School in Rochdale.

This project was completed in line with the build schedule; despite the gas protection being a late requirement due to changing guidance.

2024 has officially started.

We've experienced a variety of weathers, some we're sure we'd all rather not see again.

Our install team have been busy on site alongside doing some CPD work, maintaining their inspection standards.

Our growing demand also means we've been able to advertise for another position on the install team (if you're interested please contact our offices!)

Fingers crossed February throws less interesting weather our way!

That's our last full day completed in 2023. Our offices will reopen on 4th January.

This months in the spotlight is a housing development in Pendleton for Lovell Homes.

Prior to the project starting the inspection team (Betts Geo) and ourselves discussed the membrane requirements and any installation details they required.
The membrane used was Industrial Textiles & Plastics Ltd Powerbase VOC.

The entire site took just under 2 years to install, in line with the contractors build programme.

It's hard to believe there's only one month left of 2023!

November was a challenging one with all the weather conditions we could imagine happening in the space of about 2 weeks.

Despite the challenges, we've attended 11 sites using 5 different types of membrane and completed company wide CPD.

On to December, and then to 2024!

This months in the spotlight is a small install for a warehouse office area for a project in Lincoln

The installation was completed using Industrial Textiles & Plastics Ltd Powerbase Multigas 500 and was independently inspected with no issues identified.

This Months "in the spotlight" project is the housing development at Woodstock St, Lincoln.

September is looking busy with over 3,500m.sq of installations already booked in, with availability for more installations still showing.

As we enter August, it's time for the July update!

Alongside our membrane installations, this month all employees completed CPD courses on various Health and Safety topics.

This month we've had some new installers join us, we've installed 4 different types of gas barrier across 9 different sites, had members of our install team and office staff complete training and almost managed to keep the weather on side.

May was a busy one with 3 bank holidays in there to!

Our install team completed over 5500m.sq worth of installations using Radon, CO2/Methane and VOC barriers.

Employees also completed webinars on An introduction to housebuilding and Verification of ground gas protection alongside completing e-courses on Risk Assessments and Method Statements and their Certificate in Principles of Team Leading

Now on to June with more webinars, NVQ assessments and multiple installs already planned.

It's always nice to end the week with good news

Our independent inspections have been reduced on a site we are actively working on, due to the quality of workmanship which has been observed so far.

Congratulations to our install team, their hard work and commitment to quality has paid off.
