Good afternoon everyone,

Sorry we've been a bit absent recently. We have a lot going on in our personal lives. Because of this, we have made the decision to put Cooper&Cook on hold temporarily. We are just not able to commit to cooking at the weekend because of our personal circumstances.

We are really sorry to mess anyone around... And we will be back!!

Thank you again to everyone for your support over the last few months, this has definitely been an unexpected fast success!

We are back!!!

We hope that you all had a wonderful festive period and that January so far is treating you well!

We have some changes for 2023, starting with us only providing food for 3 out of the 4 weeks each month. This will allow us to have time with out families as we both work full time as well as cooking. It will also allow us to sample new and exciting menus for you lovely people to try. I Will put up each week whether we are offering food however, if on the weeks we are not cooking, you fancy something ad hoc from our menu's please message me. If I'm available I'll certainly cook for you!

We have a lovely Valentines menu coming up soon that we sampled over the Christmas period - it was delicious!!

We are so excited to start cooking for you all again and are looking forward to what 2023 brings. I have attached a menu for this weeks meals to save you all scrolling through this essay. Meals are £5 per portion and collection will be 14th January, I can deliver local to Moorside if needed. Please send me a message with your orders.

Hello everyone!

Happy New Year and we hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!!

We originally put back in November that we will be taking orders this week however for a number of reasons we will be extending that to next week, really sorry for the short notice!

We have some lovely meals that we have both been sampling over the last few weeks that we can't wait for you to try. We also have some brilliant ideas coming your way for the likes of Valentines Day and Mother's Day that we can't wait to share with you all.

Hello everyone!

It's good to be back!!

We are cooking for one last weekend of the year before closing up for Christmas and we have some old favourites and an exciting new dish.

● Cheeseboard Mac and Cheese - Mac and Cheese made with all of your cheeseboard favourites (stilton, smoked, cheddar, vintage) topped with a garlic and herb crumb and fried onions that make for the next level flavour!

● Pulled Chicken Enchiladas - Chicken thigh slow cooked in a spicy Mexican sauce, wrapped in corn tortillas and finished in a tomato sauce, cheese and jalapeños.

● Mexican Sausage Casserole - Thick spicy sausages cooked in a Mexican tomato sauce. Served with corriander and cheese rice (this is definately something to try. The rice really compliments the dish and as a while is a great winter warmer.

As always, meals are £5 per portion and collection will be Saturday 17th December. Or delivery local to Moorside. Please message me with your orders.

📣📢 ATTENTION SOUTHPORT PEOPLE📢📣

I will be making a trip to Southport on Friday 16th December. I will be putting a menu on for you all along side my menu for my Oldham customers. I have already sold out of alot of things, so here is what I have left on offer:

● 6x portions of Cheeseboard Mac and cheese - Mac and cheese with all of your favourite cheeseboard Cheeses (including stilton, cheddar, smoked and vintage.. please don't be put off my the stilton cheese, this just makes it extra creamy!!). Topped with a garlic and herb crumb and fried onions.

● 4x portions of Vindaloo pulled pork burgers with Indian slaw and asian inspired French fries.

● 4x portions of Jambalaya with jerk chicken pieces - A Creole favourite rice dish. Made with chicken, chorizo and scotch bonnets. Served with jerk chicken pieces.

Each portion is £5 per portion. Please message me with your orders and I will arrange collection or delivery with you. Be quick to put your order in as these go fast!!

📣📢 🎄Christmas schedule🎄 📢📣

Here are the dates for when Cooper&Cook will be taking orders over the Christmas period

Unfortunately my 9 to 5 job requires me to work some weekends, and next weekend (10th) is my weekend to work. Because of that, I won't be accepting orders next week.

I will then be back to taking orders for the week after, to be collected on 17th December. This will be the last weekend before Christmas where we will be taking orders before we close for Christmas🎄

We will then be accepting orders for all of our lovely customers week commencing 2nd January to collect 7th January.

A sneaky peak of the Pork and Beef meatballs

Good evening everyone!

Some lovely meals on offer for you this week. We are doing a limited menu due to a heavy schedule.

This week we have on offer:

● Pork and beef meatballs cooked in a rich tomato sauce - The tomato sauce is cooked over a few hours to ensure that it gets extremely rich and is full of classic Italian flavours. Served with spaghetti.

● Chicken enchiladas - Chicken thigh slow cooked in a rich Mexican sauce. The chicken will pull after being slow cooked for hours over the day. Wrapped in corn tortillas and topped with the enchilada sauce, cheese and jalapeños.

● Cheeseboard Mac and Cheese - mac and cheese with a twist of all of your favourite cheeseboard Cheeses. Including stilton, cheddar, vintage and smoked. Topped with a garlic and herb crumb and fried onions.

As always the meals are £5 per portion and please message me with your orders. Collection is Saturday 3rd December or local delivery.

Morning guys!

Still a few portions left of each dish this week. Be quick to order to avoid disappointment! I will be closing the orders at 5pm Thursday 24th to ensure I can get the ingredients I need for this weekend.

The choices again are:

● Potato pie- Traditional corned beef hash with a pastry top. Perfect dish for the colder nights!

● Butter chicken curry - Chicken breast marinated in a tikka marinade for 12 hours and then added to a rich, creamy sauce. Served with rice

● Chilli chicken curry - Chicken thighs cooked in a rich curry sauce with a kick! Served with rice

● Louisiana fried chicken - Chicken pieces marinated for 12 hours in Buttermilk, hot sauce and a pickle brine (adds a lovely pickle taste to the chicken which isn't over powering). The chicken is then covered in a flour mix and deep fried. It is then basted in a spicy butter sauce and finished in the oven for that extra crispness!! Served with chips

As always, all meals are £5 per portion and collection is Saturday, however please message me privately if you can't do this day and I will try to accommodate as much as possible. I can also offer delivery for Saturday if you are local to the Moorside area!

Good afternoon everyone - Another Monday, another menu!
This week's choices are as follows:

● Butter Chicken Curry - Tender pieces of chicken breast pieces, marinated in chicken tikka and then added to a rich, creamy butter chicken sauce. Served with rice.

● Chilli Chicken Curry - Pieces of chicken thighs cooked in a rich spicy curry sauce, with chillis and peppers. Served with rice.

● Potato pie - Traditional corned beef hash topped with shortcrust pastry.

● Louisiana Fried Chicken - Chicken pieces marinated in Buttermilk, hot sauce and pickle brine for 12 hours. Then deep fried and basted with a buttery spicy sauce and finished off in the oven for extra crispness. Served with chips.

All meals are £5 each and collection will be on Saturday 26th November. I can deliver if you are local to Moorside. Please message me with your orders!

Hi everyone,

I have now sold out of the vindaloo pulled pork burgers. They will be making a return on next week's menu! I have also sold out of the Chilli Con Carne.

There is still plenty of jambalaya if you want a nice spicy dish.

Hello everyone!

Our menu for this week is as follows:

● Chilli Con Carne - Diced beef slow cooked in a mildly spicy sauce. Can be served with rice or as nachos.

● Cheese and onion pie- made with a Cooper&Cook twist, a cheesy crumb topping. Served with homemade chips

● Vindaloo pulled pork burger- its back for another week, pork shoulder slow cooked in a vindaloo sauce and served on a brioche bun with Indian slaw and Asian inspired homemade chips

● Jambalaya - Creole favourite dish, made with rice, chorizo, chicken and scotch bonnets. Served with pieces of jerk chicken and coleslaw.

All meals are £5 each and collection is Saturday 19th November, OL1 4NN. I can also deliver if you are local to Moorside. Please message me with your orders 🙂

● Cheeseboard Mac and Cheese - Your cheeseboard favourites melted into a delicious sauce along with finely chopped chorizo and pasta. Topped with a garlic and herb crust and onions. (Sauce can be made without chorizo to make vegetarian).

● Vindaloo pulled pork burgers - Pork shoulder slow cooked in a vindaloo sauce until it falls apart. Comes with a brioche bun and Indian slaw. Served with Asian inspired home made chips.

● Cheese and onion pie - Traditional cheese and onion pie with a Cooper&Cook twist. Topped with a cheese crumb. Served with salt and vinegar potatoes.

All meals are £5 per portion. Please message me your orders and I will send you payment details and times for collection. Collection is Saturday but if you are struggling to come then, please message me privately and I will try and accommodate you.
