Finally got round to doing this… apologies for the delay!

We aim to open 7 days but for now while we get settled we’re sticking with these opening hours. Seeya in the park! ☕️🍰

Come and join us this September for a delicious breakfast or lunch and not only will you be supporting our dementia hub and respite centre, but you will also have a chance to win a meal for two!! We listened to all of you and it would seem a shame to let this place go to waste so we had to find a way to save it.

The time has finally come to close this page down,

It’s absolutely heartbreaking to have to do this but we’ve tried every avenue possible to try to re-open but we just can’t do it.

On a personal note myself and my team have loved every second here at Dunwood Park Cafe.

We’ve got to know all of our lovely customers who have now become friends.

Fabulous day, thankyou to everyone who walked, donated, friends, families kids and dogs, sorted the route, all the back office we don’t see in organising events, kitchen staff and front of house staff at all sites, I appreciate you have been under pressure due to staff taking part. Without you all today wouldn’t have happened or been possible. We haven’t got I final count yet, but I reckon we’re on track for a good £3.5k. I think one more very important thing to note here is the GPCare CIC is a NOT for profit organisation and anything we make (although at present is nil) we reinvest into the community, hence Community Interest Company, CIC. We would love to carry on supporting the local residents and Friends of Dunwood Park, I Love SHAW, Shaw and Shaw and Crompton, Oldham, Greater Manchester, but need support. Support local businesses who put the heart and sole in the community.

It’s with great sadness we are having to write this post, unfortunately our beloved cafe has had to close its doors for one final time.

Due to the rising costs of food and other factors we just couldn’t go on.

The entire team are absolutely heartbroken as we absolutely loved Dunwood Park.
You welcomed us and made us feel at home and we can’t thank you enough.

Myself and Lee will be at the cafe on Monday to start clearing out so if you’d like to pop in and see us we would like that.
