Heat 2 P2 > P1
A 1st & a 2nd put me on the outside of the front row for the final alongside Joshua Turnbull who had won both his heats.
I dropped a few places at the start going off the outside but managed to work my way back up to my starting berth & had a great battle with Leon Hastie, Joshua, Aras Majauskis , Brandon Trueman & Harrison Crowther throughout to eventually be classified in P3!
A huge thank you as always to Tom Morkill on the spanners & all of the team at Sam Pollitt Racing & to HRS Racing Engines.

A great day at PFi with a win & a second in my heats putting me on the front row for the final.
The final was a hard fought battle but I eventually ended the day on the podium in P3 from 54 starters at the beginning of the weekend!
Qualifying done & P4 overall puts me on the front row for both heats tomorrow.
Now to switch suits & head to the UKC awards tonight!
I hope that you all have a great Christmas & a Happy New Years!
Contact in both of my heats today put me down in 18th on the grid for the final. I managed to work my way up to 11th by half race distance, but the gap to 10th was nearly 2 seconds & whilst i got close, the laps ran out & I had to settle for P11!
Not the qualifying I was hoping for having topped some of the practice sessions.
I started my heat in P5 & made my way up to 2nd place so managed to pull it out of the bag!
A few pictures from a very wet last weekend!

TVKC FESTIVE CUP MEETING REPORT
Qualifying: P5
Pre-Final: P3 > P4
Final: P8 > P25
Saturdays split qualifying session had seen me put my kart 5th in the standings which meant I was due to start 3rd for two heats but the overnight snow meant that the racing couldn’t start as early and so the schedule was switched a to pre-finals & then a final.
I made a good start to my pre-final, holding onto 3rd until the halfway point when Joshua Turnbull got by, but I had plenty in reserve to the field behind & I crossed the line in P4.
This put me on row 4 in 8th for the final & I moved up to 7th on the opening lap but then an off under the bridge at the start of lap 2 dropped me down to 29th. From here I worked my way back up to 20th in the remaining 7 laps, only to be demoted down to 25th following a post-race front fairing penalty.
Not an ideal ending to what was another strong weekend until the final.

4th in my qualifying race put me on row 4 for the final but things didn't work out for me in an incident strewn final & I was classified 25th!
P5 in qualifying today puts me on the inside of the second row for heats 1 &3 tomorrow!

Having progressed from the B-Final, I started the pre-final in 32nd & made it all the way up to 13th so it was disappointing that I didn't get the chance to challenge for honours as the final wasn't run due to diminishing light!
Qualified quickest in my group & 3rd overall put me on the front row for my heats & I managed to win both on track but having only picked up points for one of them, I'll be in the B-final, starting P12 tomorrow!
TVKC ROUND 7 MEETING REPORT
Qualifying: P3
Heat 2: P2 > P2
Heat 3: P2 > P2
Sunday morning started off wet with myself on the outside of the front row. I held onto 2nd at the start & whilst I couldn’t stay with Hugh Moulton in front, I was opening up a safe gap to those behind & even though my SPR teammate William Antrobus closed in towards the end, I held on for P2.
Heat 3 was a little more intense as i lead the opening exchanges, momentarily dropping to 2nd behind Adam Wooden on lap 4 & then retaking the lead on the next. It stayed like this until a few laps from the end when Adam got through for the final time, going on to take the win with myself bagging another 2nd.
Final: P3 > P2
I made a good start and moved up to 2nd on the opening lap before briefly leading on lap 2. I then got shuffled back to 4th which is where I sat for a few laps with the top 4 remaining fairly consistent until around half race distance. Adam Wooden took the lead on lap 6 from Timo Jungling who then promptly took it back which allowed Kenzo Craigie to pass as well. Then I was my turn as I past Adam on Lap 8 but in doing so this opened up too much of a gap to the two leaders, so it was now a battle for 3rd on track between myself & Liam Hartley who was now in front of Adam. Luckily the pack behind were battling amongst themselves which gave us a bit of breathing room & we battled it out all the way to the end, crossing the line with a little over a tenth between us. My 3rd place at the flag would eventually become 2nd as a driver in front had an incorrectly positioned front fairing.
Congratulations to KC_Racing_44 -Kenzo Craigie on the win & to Liam Hartley Racing on the podium as well.
A great way to end my TVKC season, giving me 8th place overall in the championship.
Thank you to Sam Pollitt Racing, Tom Morkill & HRS Racing Engines.

RMC GOLDEN TROPHY - GENK
Qualifying: P16
Heat 1: P11 > P2
Heat 2: P11 > P3
Super Heat A: P2 > P7
Final: P6 > P13
With the field split into 3 groups post qualifying for an A vs C, A vs B & B vs C format, my 16th place in qualifying put me in group A & 11th on the grid for both of my heats.
Strangely B vs C was first, so I waited patiently until mid-afternoon for my races & I manged to thread the needle on lap 1 & I was up to 7th place by the third corner. I made up a further 3 places on the next lap & I was even happier to see Timo Jungling, Armand Hamilton & Toms Strele scrapping away just up the road which allowed myself & Jacob Ashcroft the chance to close up & we slipstreamed past Armand on the main straight. I then managed to ride out an overtake attempt from Jacob which then meant he had to defend at the next corner so it was just Timo, Toms & I at the front. With 2-minutes to go I made a move on Timo at the final corner to move up to P2 & despite a fightback I held on to the place & moved away towards the end of the race.
I should have been starting 11th again for the next race but I received a huge boost when a number of drivers in front were sent to the back for dummy grid infringements, promoting me to 5th, a position I held onto at the start before slipping by Cameron Nelson at the beginning of lap 2 & I was up to 3rd on the next lap as I moved past Martin Lichner but the leaders were too far away to catch as I was in an intense battle with Cameron to hold on to 3rd place.
My heat results put me on the front row for Super Heat A on Sunday morning. Being on the outside I lost a place at the start as the track begins with two right handers (pole side) but I managed to get back to 2nd by the end of the lap. I remained there until lap 6 when Jacob Ashcroft got through & Toms put his kart in the same gap, the overtake meant that I was slow on the exit of the corner & this also allowed Timo & Casper Nisson through.
As we started the final lap I went for a move on Casper into the first corner, got through but then couldn’t get the kart stopped on the apex & ran slightly wide, allowing Luca Scelles to take P6.
I lined up 6th for the final, once again on the outside of what was now a wet track. I managed to get to the inside as the lights went out but as karts went sideways in front of me I had to slow & then I was forced onto the grass & I rejoined down in 24th place. Not really a lot to say after that, I did manage to regain 8 places on track & then a further 3 after post-race penalties were applied.
Not the end I wanted to my first weekend racing on the continent, but I can certainly take heart away from the fact that I qualified 6th for the final at a track I’d never raced at before & that the outcome of the final was out of my control.
An opening corner incident in the final which saw me pushed onto the grass (which was very wet) scuppered any chance of challenging towards the front. Gutting having started the final from 6th place but sometimes it's out of your control.
Thank you to everyone who makes it possible, Mum & Dad, , , , , Linntec, ,
16th out of 39 in qualifying put me 11th for both heats but I came through to finish 2nd & 3rd in my races today to leave me 3rd in the overnight points & going off the front row for my Super Heat tomorrow morning.

MSUK BRITISH KART CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 5
Qualifying: P20 / 50
Heat 1: P13 > P10
Heat 3: P14 > P22
Although I qualified 20th, due to the size of the field it was split into three groups for us to race against each other & so I lined up 13th in heat 1 & made good progress, moving up to 10th by lap 5 before being shuffled down to 14th on the next lap. Unperturbed, I managed to fight my way back in the remaining laps to be classified in P10.
Heat 3 was a bit more dramatic, was running 13th on lap 3 when an incident dropped me all the way back to to 27th. I'd fought back to 22nd by lap 7 but I was 3.2 seconds behind the kart in front & despite closing in, the laps ran out.
My heat finishes put me 21st in the overnight points.
Pre-Final: P21 > P25
I dropped back at the start down to 23rd in what was a frenetic pre-final, I managed to my way back to up 18th which would have been a reasonable start for the final however a penalty incurred in the final few laps dropped me down to 25th!
Final: P25 > P20
My chances of making strong progress were spoilt on lap one of the final as contact into my rear bumper into the final complex of corners tipped me into a spin, dropping to me all but last! I worked hard to fight my way back up from 32nd to 20th going onto the penultimate lap but further contact would see me cross the line in 23rd before post-race penalties promoted me back to 20th.

A tough day after a penalty in the pre-final dropped me 7 places from my finishing position but despite the setback we made up positions in the final.
Just waiting for the points to be published to see if I've ended the Wera Tools British Kart Championships as the top rookie in Junior Rotax!
An incident in the opening few laps of my second heat dropped me down the order but I'm still straight through to the pre-final which I'll be starting from row 11
