Dust Devils (pre Stygia Rust Devils)?
Or something else?
Happy New Year Entropists!
It's far too easy to focus on the negatives...
Slight theme here! Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas, what did Santa bring you?
Merry Christmas Entropists!!!
Well these are looking tasty! Has anyone noticed that Belial has the same type of terminator armour as Abaddon? Could that be an indication of his size? If so... What a beast!
What do you think? Grimepunk Dark Angels? Fallen? Kitbash?
The Hoppity Family
Following on from the experimentation with the stormcast the other day, I think I may have stumbled on to an interesting take on grey knights.
Playing with Horus Heresy heads from forge world on stormcast bodies. I think the newer MKVI helmets work perfectly with the scale of the bodies.
Which do you like best?

Even when society falls into decay, Santa and his elves will be there to bring Christmas joy to boys and girls.
Huge thank you to my anonymous secret Santa! Thank you so much for the gift!
I know the marshal was intended to start off cities of sigmar, but Inspiration has struck for something else 😉.

JFDI... Suddenly a winged Prime.
In the midst of battle's fury stands the Brutalis Redemptor Dreadnought, a towering testament to the Astartes' unbreakable will. Ravaged by countless conflicts, its imposing frame is patched with battlefield salvages, each piece a silent witness to brutal encounters. Within this mechanical colossus, little remains of the original Astartes flesh, yet the mind and heart of the veteran warrior endure, undimmed. Sworn to an eternal crusade in the Emperor's name, this Dreadnought marches forth, a relentless avatar of war. Each stride resonates with the solemn vow of the Astartes: to relentlessly pursue the Emperor's foes until the last enemy is vanquished or the last trace of flesh decays. In this unyielding march, the Brutalis Redemptor Dreadnought stands as a fearsome embodiment of the Astartes' eternal commitment to battle, a guardian of the Imperium until the end of time.

Amidst the roar of battle, the Wolf Lord stands as a formidable titan, his presence commanding the battlefield like a hulking bear. Draped in a mantle of fur, each strand tells a tale of primal conquest and wilderness mastered. His mighty battle axe, an extension of his indomitable will, cleaves through the din of war with brutal elegance. Adorned with the skulls of beasts from hunts past, his armor is not just protection, but a tapestry of victories over nature's fiercest. With each measured step, he stalks the field, an apex predator among warriors, his every move a testament to the raw, untamed power he embodies. In the heart of conflict, the Wolf Lord reigns supreme, a relentless force of nature unleashed.
This miniature is for sale £40 plus postage, DM .e for more information.
In the shadowed realms of war-torn galaxies, there stands The Hunter. His figure, a somber silhouette against the backdrop of devastation, exudes an aura of silent power. Clad in armor etched with the scars of countless battles, he wields a spear as lethal as it is symbolic, its shaft adorned with macabre trophies - silent witnesses to his victories. Each kill, a story etched in metal and bone. The air around him is thick with the weight of unspoken tales, of foes vanquished and battles fought in the farthest reaches of space. In the hush that follows the storm of war, The Hunter's presence resonates, a lone guardian in a universe of chaos, his legend echoing in the void.
This model is for sale £25 plus postage, DM me for more information.

Hey Entropists! 🌟
Remember when I talked about 'Facing Battles Beyond the Tabletop'? Well, I've been on a mission to reignite that creative spark. Introducing 'Project: JFDI' (Just F***ing Do It)! 🚀
In the past few days, I've been all about action, less about overthinking. I grabbed some bits I've been eyeing up and just started building. Guess what? I've built more in these four days than in the last four months!
JFDI is about diving in headfirst, embracing the process without the paralysis of perfection. It's amazing how much progress you make when you just start.
So, to anyone feeling stuck: Pick up that project, dust off those brushes, and just do it. The joy is in the journey. Let's get our hands dirty and hearts full!
I was discussing starting again with Necromunda with a friend in the new year. I was trying to decide between Redemptionists, Nomads or van saar...
Now I've seen these and I think I've changed my mind! Those ash waste heads are so cool!
The moment of reckoning is upon us! The chivalrous, yet ghastly Flesh Eater Courts are marching into our realm with a box set to die for, hitting pre-orders next week (December 2nd). My heart aches with anticipation for these magnificent miniatures, especially the majestic Ushoran, who might just be my favorite model ever crafted by GW!
Alas, the cruel twist of fate! As the holiday season devours my wallet, this treasure trove of new plastic miniatures might slip through my fingers. Oh, the agony of being a responsible adult during the festive season! 😭
Dear Santa (or any benevolent spirit of the Mortal Realms), if you're listening, know that I've been exceptionally good this year. A Flesh Eater Courts Army Set under my Christmas tree would surely cure my hobbyist's heartache.
Let the countdown to December 2nd begin, as I dream of crypt guards, Morbheg Knights, and the allure of the exclusive Battletome. Who else is feeling this exquisite torture? 🧟♂️🏰🗡️
I decided to test out the city down sprays on something a bit more fuzzy...

It awakens...
Hey Entropists! 🎨 Last night, GW unveiled something that's got my hobby heart racing – the new Flesh Eater Courts models. I'm absolutely in awe, especially with Ushoran. Seriously, it might just be my favorite model they've ever created.
The intricate detailing, the balance of nobility and horror... it's like they were made for the grimedark/grimepunk style we love. The whole line-up, from the Cryptguard to the Morbheg Knights, screams of a narrative depth that I can't wait to dive into.
With the end of the year fast approaching, my hobby funds are running a bit low. But, you know, if Santa or the fine folks are feeling generous, I wouldn't say no to an early preview! 😉 My brushes are just itching to bring the Flesh Eater Courts to life in my unique style.
What do you all think of the latest from GW? Are you as hyped as I am?

Hey Entropists!
Today I had a session experimenting with some aging sprays Dirty Down sent over, and I'm eager to share the process with you all. Here's the rundown: I started with models primed in Ghoul Grey by . Each got a generous coat of Dirty Down's aging sprays, which I then partially removed and blended with a cotton bud dipped in IPA, revealing a worn, authentically aged look.
These sprays are definitely adding a new layer to my grimepunk arsenal, offering an alternative to the usual grime effects I apply.
Curious about how they work or want to try them? There’s a link on my page to explore Dirty Down’s range. Let them know Pixie sent you.
Got any questions on the technique? Drop them below.
