It’s so easy when life gets crazy, to forget the simple things in life that bring so much pleasure. I had so much fun doing this ‘camo-esque’ eye makeup for my shoot today with the awesome with my glamorous assistant/fluffer •

It’s been ages since I’ve done a proper full on makeup look and I’m so chuffed how it turned out with no pre-planning and no idea how it would look in the end. Also feat. My first ever false eyelash success, despite putting them on in moving traffic (obviously I wasn’t driving... that’s what Parker... ahem... ALEX is for)

So I applied for the Berlin Burlesque Festival before lockdown. They emailed earlier in the week to say it would be going ahead with limited performers and focusing on Germany-based acts due to travel restrictions, but they would let anyone know who WOULD have been invited to perform if it weren’t for restrictions and keep the applications for next year... and I was one of them!!! So hopefully in 2021 I will get to perform in my favourite city in the world!!! This is such a huge deal for me and massive confidence boost! festival

So... it’s official. The Dumb Belle is one year old today! 🎉 🎂 🥳 throwing back to my first ever performance at hosted by the wonderful Derry Pope. That day I got to share a stage with the incredibly talented and and had my makeup done by my stunning friend .•

I have grown and developed so much as a performer and as a woman since The Dumb Belle came into my life and I have one person to thank more than anyone for that. of and . You taught me everything, encouraged and supported me choreographed with me and never stopped believing in me even when I doubted myself. I wouldn’t be performing without you, you are more than a teacher, a choreographer... you are a best friend too.
