Faulty Towers is coming to Hawkwell House 🙌

👉The Interactive Theatre International is visiting the hotel this June to bring our guests the Faulty Towers The Dining Experience!

🍽 The immersive Dining Experience is an unmissable highly interactive comedy spectacular, where audiences enjoy a 3-course meal alongside 5-star comedy.

⭐️When the audience become diners in the ‘Faulty Towers’ restaurant, pretty much anything can happen – because 70% of the show is improvised!

😁The fun starts as guests wait to be seated. It then hurtles along in a 2-hour tour de force of gags and shambolic service as Basil, Sybil and Manuel serve a ‘70s-style 3-course meal together with a good dollop of mayhem.

Historic Hawkwell 🏛

👉 Our boutique 19th century manor house is steeped in history and character.

🏅The main hotel was originally a hunting lodge dating back to the Victorian era. It was also the birthplace of Arctic explorer and polar medallist Francis Bickerton in 1889. Did you know our signature restaurant Frank’s was named in his honour?

✈️ Tucked just behind the hotel is Elm House, our stunning 15 bedroom house which was the former home of British pilot and aerial photographer Major George W Allen.

Last weekend we hosted the ALL - Accor Live Limitless event for Accor Diamond and Platinum members.

👉 Guests enjoyed an afternoon of guided tours around some of Oxford’s historic colleges before visiting our hotel where they had the opportunity to sample some freshly prepared local food and drinks. To top off a great event, guests were treated to some brilliant live entertainment.
