As we await the latest drug & alcohol-related death stats in August, Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol & Drugs (SFAD) is launching a campaign to amplify the voices of families impacted by addiction.
This year's theme is "Loss and Love," honouring those we've lost and cherishing their memories.
SFAD believes in the power of stories to foster understanding and healing. By sharing your experiences, you help highlight the personal side of these statistics, reminding everyone of the individuals behind the numbers and the love that endures despite the pain of loss.
Take a few moments to participate in the survey. Your responses will be a vital part of our public campaign, helping to bring visibility to families affected by these tragedies. If you prefer your stories to remain private, please let SFAD know in your response.
Join them in honouring loved ones and celebrating the love that remains. Your voice can make a difference.

HMP Low Moss' recovery cafe has been highlighted in the first newsletter produced by Renfrewshire Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP).
The ADP is a strategic partnership consisting of Renfrewshire Health & Social Care Partnership, Renfrewshire Council, Police Scotland, Scottish Fire & Rescue Services, Scottish Prison Service and the voluntary sector, which has responsibility for addressing alcohol and drug issues in local communities.
It is vital that the emergency services respond in a way that gives the best help and support to people experiencing a mental health crisis, free from stigma and discrimination.
For the last few years our partners See Me have been working with the Scottish Ambulance Service to look at how they respond to mental health emergencies – and they want to hear about your opinions.
