We had a great time at intoBodmin this weekend creating some fabulous lino-cut Christmas cards! A group of total beginners learnt the basics of lino-printing and walked away with some gorgeous hand printed Christmas cards. Take a look at what they created!

We grow our own organic Woad plants right here in Cornwall. Woad is an ancient dye plant that contains the same blue colouring matter as Indigo, but in lower concentrations. Fresh leaves are processed soon after picking to produce a blue dye once the oxygen has been removed. This process is truly magical - watching the greeny yellow fabric turn blue as it reacts with oxygen when removed from the dye vat 🌿

Scrunchie lovers!! I've been busy creating some new plant based colours this month AND a few new products too! They will be making their debut at Puddle Farm Cornwall on Sunday 27th October 🌿

Naturally dyes aren't all greens and browns like you may expect! Plants hold some serious pigments - bright yellows and deep blues are just a few of the colours we create all harnessed from nature 🌿

A wonderful workshop today with some creative students at in St Austell. Brilliant patterns and fabulous mark making! This was a bit of a throw back as I started my Art and Design diploma here 18 years ago! Woweee!!

Fancy having a go at making your own Christmas cards using the Linocut printing technique!

Zowie will provide all materials and you will be able to take home your hand carved lino-cut for future printing along with 4 printed cards and envelopes.

This workshop is suitable for both beginners and those who have tried lino-cut printing before.

This workshop can be a little messy so you may want to wear old clothes or bring an apron.
