After 3 weeks of overwhelming response to the wings, it is sadly time for them to come down. We are looking for a permanant location for them to be displayed, so if anyone has any ideas please get in touch. This was by far my most poignant project to date. And it was a total privilege to create.

On Friday evening our early pregnancy team unveiled a special pair of "angel wings" covered in fairy lights outside Worcestershire Royal Hospital to mark Baby Loss Awareness Week.

The wings commemorate all those babies lost during pregnancy or soon after birth, with each individual light representing a pregnancy or baby loss cared for in our hospital this year.

We hope the wings help bring comfort to those affected by pregnancy or baby loss, and act as a reminder that you are not alone. We care. We remember. We stand with you.

Last week, a new door (gate!) was opened, when I built my biggest order to date. Really pleased with how they turned out and loved the process. Next step is to install the motors!

I’d just like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who liked, shared and ordered from Gibbs Bespoke in 2020; it certainly wasn’t the easiest year for any of us- so I really appreciate each and every bit of kindness shown to me in my first few months.

Some of you may not know, but Gibbs Bespoke originally started after I began making things as therapy during a period of time when I was struggling with my mental health. Therefore, mental health support is something I’m incredibly passionate about.

With last nights announcement of another national lockdown, feelings of uncertainty and anxiety are higher than ever. So to anyone who may be struggling at the moment, I just want you to know that you that YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

We’re a very small family run business, based in Pershore, who are passionate about making quality, bespoke home furnishings.

Alex comes from a background of engineering, fabrication, woodwork and is also a qualified electrician. In his spare time, he enjoys designing and creating bespoke furnishings, and as a result, our home is full of handmade curiosities! Please feel free to browse the photos on our page of some of his creations.

We offer a bespoke service, so if you like any of the products we have previously crafted, or if you would like something designed, please drop us a message or an email, and we’ll get back to you with a quote!

We mostly use salvaged wood to craft our products, encouraging recycling and repurposing. It is important to us that we minimise waste to help to protect the environment, but we also believe that the history of the wood we use, gives our products real character.
