Local business Hussain & Lewis Security Ltd has been awarded accreditation from Alcumus SafeContractor for achieving excellence in health and safety in the workplace.

Alcumus SafeContractor is a leading accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors. It is used by thousands of organisations in the UK including SMEs and FTSE 100 companies.

The company’s application for SafeContractor accreditation was driven by the need for a uniform standard across the business. SafeContractor accreditation will enhance the company’s ability to win new contracts, and its commitment to safety will be viewed positively by its insurers when the company liability policy is up for renewal.

On Sunday, 23rd June, HLS LTD had the pleasure of providing security services to assist the Peterborough Palestine Solidarity Campaign march throughout areas of Peterborough.
This event was very close to the hearts of a lot of our staff members and their families, and such so, one of our directors Waquas Hussain led our security team with the march.
The event was a great success, and it was a pleasure to see such a great response.

We are proud to announce that we can offer HPAC registered personnel.
These personnel are trained up to FREC 3 level of first aid and hold a HPAC Emergency First Responder card.
This is fantastic news for businesses/event holders who require first aiders on site, as we will be able to tie this in with your security needs, helping you save time and money.

Yesterday, HLS LTD was on point at various locations for the first England game of the Euro's.
It was a great day for all our staff who were working, especially for our amazing clients and their customers who enjoyed an amazing day, and result.
We're looking forward to the remainder of the England games and hope to see such an amazing turnout for all the venues.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining security and ensuring the safety of customers and staff at various locations in Peterborough and Lincolnshire. Daily tasks may include monitoring entrances and exits, checking IDs, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security protocols.

Qualifications:

SIA Door Supervision licence
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle difficult situations professionally
Vigilance and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team and own initiative
Prior experience in security or related field is preferred
First Aid certification is a plus
Physical fitness and the ability to stand for long periods of time
