I’ve been waiting for this day to post about this incredible women!!! I needed her to allow me to post because her confidence of her own body when starting was zilch.
She is an inspiration to anyone who would like to lose some weight but really struggles to get it right.
She started alone where she lost an incredible 2-3 stone, she then got stuck in a rut and needed a push, she came to me for just PT, the inches started to go but the scales stayed the same.
We then started the journey of Nutirtion and PT…well and just look! We got it right. She looks insane!!!!
Not only has she lost weight, inches but she is now also running 5k without stopping, this is a massive achievement to someone who hates running! Her next goal is 10k (might have put her up to this) but I know she can do it.
This is not the finished product we are smashing the cardio, weights and starting to tone the body!!! I’ll show her off again after the next block.
THIS GIRL CAN 100% CAN!!!!
For anyone interested, this hasn’t involved any shakes, protein shakes, hours of training…..the right food and the right exercises THATS ALL.
Had the most amazing week seeing so much AMAZING sport, watching world class athletes, being part of the commonwealth games spirit 2022, enjoying something that only comes around every 4 years and we were lucky it was on our doorstep. You don’t need to enjoy sport to be part of the team spirit. I have been spoilt to be here for 6 days supporting Team England and loved every minute of it. Elsie doesn’t realise how lucky she is and we’ll Ruby she will one day watch it and remember it I’m sure (means I get to go again one day to make it fair for Ruby!!.)
A highlight of my week was being able to wear aged 13-14 shorts and borrowed an 11 year old England t-shirt, however after all the ‘on the go’ food, meals out and treats it’s time to get back to reality starting tomorrow morning.
So ……I have booked in clients this weekend as I have been away this week….I’ll be in contact TODAY to confirm time slots.
More importantly we have semi final games to watch at 2.30pm Saturday and hopefully final games on Sunday, so need to make sure I don’t book anyone in on these times so I can watch the games!!!

Since Saturday to Monday evening I probably ate 1300 cals in total…not because I chose to just because of stress and worry but also I wasn’t hungry and then I didn’t want to leave my room to go down main reception and get food. I chose to go without.
2.5 days of less than a days calories intake is not okay.
Have I lost any weight? No, why? Because everything I have eaten since my body as absorbed just incase I decided to starve myself again.
Do I feel good? No, I had no energy today NOTHING, luckily I had 2 classes to go and teach but if it wasn’t for them would I have done something? No.
Does hunger catch up with you? Yes, 100%, today I could of eaten sooooo much, I had my breakfast at 7am, at 10am I could of eaten everything in sight, and tonight I have just consumed 3 2 finger kitkats. I have been starving all day.
Starving yourself doesn’t mean you lose weight, hunger catches up and then your willpower is zilch. Do you have energy if you skip meals. No.
Moral of this story, consistency is key. 3 meals a day, snacks and exercise is what we need. Eat less move more to lose weight there is no pill, injection, meal replacement that helps. It’s simple.

I don’t know if you have noticed but over the last 12-18months social media feeds are full of charity sign ups for “100 squats a day for 30 days.” “50miles running in one month” “5km swim in august”. Etc etc etc….
All charities are promoting exercise whether it affects mental health or physical health. There is no catch…..exercise helps you!!!!!!!
You might suffer with anxiety, menopause, depression, cancer, heart conditions, diabetes the list could go on.
Even a 10 min walk can lift the mood. Start today. Do something for you. Start small and build up. I can promise you exercise and the right food and by next week you will be feeling better.

😍EXCITING NEWS - CLASSES ARE COMING BACK!😍
From September we will be offering Yoga, Pilates, Circuits, Aqua Fitness, Studio Cycling and a Running Club.
Classes will be INCLUDED in memberships, for no additional cost.
Non-members will also be able to book into classes - £5 per class (£6 for Yoga or Pilates).
We will be running some taster sessions in August - so keep an eye on our social media pages for further details.

This 12 week journey has been insane. Not only was this woman so determined to get results she was amazing already from the start. Everyone has their own journey and goals. Her goal originally was just a stone to feel better after having a baby a couple years ago and just wanted to be herself again. (I totally get this, I’ve had 2 children and I’m desperate for my pre baby body back, I know it takes time and I know your body changes but sometimes I just want to be Jaclyn) and this was this amazing client she wanted to be herself again.
Well…. She smashed it….lb after lb was going weekly. She kept up with the 5-6 day fitness plan and 7 days a week nutrition. We messaged weekly and I even helped her through menus on date nights.
She is now 2 stone down, fitness is top notch and buying a WHOLE new wardrobe!!!! (Now I’ve never said this journey isn’t cheap 🤣🤣).
But most of all….that confidence of her feeling amazing is just the icing on the cake. you are incredible!!!!!!!

What are the exercise benefits?
You might find that being more physically active helps with some of your menopause symptoms. Regular exercise might:
✅ reduce your hot flushes
✅help you to manage your weight
✅lift your mood
✅improve your self-esteem
✅help you to sleep
✅reduce anxiety
After the menopause, you’re also more likely to be affected by osteoporosis, a condition that causes your bones to become weaker. This is because you have less of the hormone oestrogen in your body, which is important for bone density.
Keeping active can help keep your bones healthy and can reduce the chance of them breaking or fracturing if you fall over. Bones get stronger as you use them and give them work to do. To help keep your bones strong, you should try and do both muscle-strengthening exercises and weight-bearing exercises.
