Reports in the international media the Houthis are claiming to have targeted the Ro-Ro MOD vessel the Anvil Point that was in the Indian Ocean.

Update: It has been reported that the Anvil Point was seen docked in Duqm, Oman, as of July 1st, 2024, and raises questions about the accuracy of the Houthi statements regarding the timing and location of their attacks.

The Houthi claims are FALSE:

AW Ship Management has confirmed MV Anvil Point was not involved in an attack whilst on passage through the Indian Ocean.

"The vessel and crew are safe and are currently continuing their scheduled voyage from Duqm, Oman to Mombasa, Kenya".

Breakwater Fort took 20 years to build and completed in 1880. The historic Palmerston Folly was never used, but seen action in the Second World War as an anti-aircraft station.

Looking out across the Sound you can see the installation of a block that appears to be scaffolding, but not sure.

The gigantic fort is one of the Sound’s most impressive fortifications.
