Do you want to master garment construction and develop a career in the fashion, textiles or upholstery industries? Are you ready to stitch your future together?🧵 Our Level 1 in Fashion & Textiles students did just that and was recently featured on BBC Radio Devon with John Acres! 🎙️ After a successful career as a high school teacher and sailing coach, Steven found a new passion on City College Plymouth’s Level 1 in Fashion & Textiles course. This course will introduce you to essential skills like stitching on industrial machines, pattern design, making and cutting and creative illustration of your own patterns and styles. You’ll gain industry knowledge and explore various techniques and methods that are vital for careers in the textile industry. Join us at our Open Day on Friday 23 August, 10am to 1pm, to explore how fashion & textiles could help you break into the fashion and textiles industries.
