As an upholsterer you get used to finding things hidden in old sofas. Often it’s loose change. Today I found 40p, but I’ve also previously found a flip flop, and tuning fork!

Yesterday I was asked to do some repairs to these motorbike saddle bags and jacket (paid in wine, my favourite sort of payment!) and make some pirate themed bandanas 🏴‍☠️ Actual work completed this week to follow…

I did this motorbike seat a few weeks ago but the customer sent a picture of his bike now it’s all finished. Stunning 🤩

T5 seats with bentley double diamond stitching, this is the third set I’ve done in this grey vinyl.

These sofas were in great condition but after a few years the grey fabric was starting to stain. A bit of extra wadding and a change of fabric to match the customer’s new colour scheme, don’t they look great?

Took the day off, made the most of the sunshine and got out on the bike. Love that being self employed allows me to do this. Will need to do some catching up tomorrow though 😀

Dining chair revamp

We said goodbye to Dolly this week. Off to create memories for another family. We’ve had many excellent years and adventures with her and just look at the upholstered seats 😀

This chair is very similar to one I’ve done previously, it’s a popular print choice. Looks lovely in situ in the customer’s home

Another job I’m reluctant to part with, just look how lovely she looks in a corner of our lounge! This chair belonged to the customer’s grandmother so it was a joy to restore it.
