Wow! What a weekend. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and said hello, it was fantastic to see you all. Thank you so much to for helping me set up on Friday. Hope to see lots of you again soon ❤️

Exciting news! We finally have our own studio base! 🎉 We will be opening at King George V Playing Fields & Pavilion in September above Kings Kiosk. To celebrate we will have a stall at Canford Summer Fair this weekend! We will have crafty creating and mini messy play activities for children to try. Come and find us in the children’s entertainment area! 🎨

So many amazing camp site map designs at After School clubs this week. The children had such amazing ideas and it was lovely to hear everyone’s explanations of what they had decided to include 🤩

We had so much fun making jackets out of paper bags this week. Everyone was so creative with their ideas!

I’m a bit behind on posting our class activities, but here was last weeks fashion/ T-shirt designs. It’s always amazing to see how many different designs the children come up with, even with the same instructions and materials.

We had some fantastic castles made at art club this week. We worked out how to take them from flat paper and make them 3D 🏰 Well done everyone!

This week at Art Club we made books! I showed the children how these special books are made using just one sheet of paper, and they filled them with their amazing ideas 💡

This week we are celebrating Earth Day. Some great posters from Mondays MFS After School Club 🌍

This week the children at Art Club were working on a competition brief by Molly-Meg and Lola - Lots Of Lovely Art to design their own shops. They did some fantastic work with such creative ideas. Check out Know Wander on Instagram to see all of our entries!

So many amazing keyings made at art club this week! The children put fantastic efforts into their sewing 🪡

Designing doughnuts on Tuesday this week, as well as our paper aeroplane competition as we were in the hall for a change. No photos from Monday this week! But there were some lovely bugs that headed home.

The children at Art Club today did a fantastic job of turning kitchen roll tubes into characters. I hope all the grown ups loved them too.
Next week at MFS is parents evening so please can adults collect from the hall.

Creativity of a different kind today… birthday cake decorating! I am a terrible baker but I love to get a plain cake and decorate it with my kids favourite things!

Valentines came early at art club this week as it half term next week. I LOVE the giant hearts everyone decorated. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

This week I gave the children at art club a challenge, and they all smashed it! Making something out of a bag of random materials might sound easy but the depth of thought put into some of these ideas was amazing.

Some super fashion designs happening this week! We had some mums, a goth, Hermionie from HP, a holiday suitcase full of essentials and more! 👏 Well done everyone!

This week we were painting! And drawing, making, colouring and lots more!

A fantastic start to the term making calendars for the year ahead. The younger children were able to chat about the order of the months, seasons, weather and what happens each month (including birthdays!🎈), and the older children were able to add dates for the whole family and school holidays. That’s on top of some amazing calendar decorations and all the other exciting pieces created! Well done to everyone.

And just like that, the last workshop of 2023 is complete! Thanks to everyone who came along and made such amazing Christmas hampers, decorations and so much more! 🎄

With Eldridge’s on Friday and rehearsals for the nativity and carols well under way, the children at MFS are in the festive spirit already! We made Christmas wreaths this week along with the usual extras, picture frames, tracing, large scale models and expressive paintings! Art Club is always so busy and full of amazing ideas 💡
