Open Plan layout

Removing walls to create a separate lounge/snug and open plan Kitchen, diner, lounge will add huge value to this property. Adding a roof lantern will let lots of light in and create a beautiful social space perfect for parties.

We have designed it to have a separate utility area so the washing noises are kept apart from the living space.

The aim was to create a stylish and functional space, and we think we've achieved that.

💙💙 The blue stairs make a bold statement, while the wooden railing grounds the space and makes it feel inviting. The double-story light was designed and made in-house specifically for this stairwell, and it really ties the whole space together. Along with the herringbone flooring and the vintage sideboard, we've created an eye-catching entranceway that's sure to turn heads. ✨

Choosing a wall colour can send many into a panic. Fear not! Did you know that your choices can be a lot easier to make, depending on which way your room is facing?

The way a colour looks when painted changes vastly depending on the amount of light (natural or artificial) coming into the room. Adding good artificial light can really bring a room to life. Make sure your light bulbs are warm and bright enough. Add floor lamps.

This image was generated for a remote client. No site visit was required. Through conversations and messages, we made her new kitchen sparkly! This image gave the building team a goal to aim for and the client was thrilled with the results (see website for testimonials). 🌠🏵️🏆

🛠️ NEARLY FINISHED - BESPOKE BEDROOM CABINETRY UPDATE! 🛠️

We opted for 'push to open' mechanisms on all the doors and drawers of this bedroom cabinetry.

No need for handles results in a sleek look; whilst the mechanism is quiet, durable and a pleasure to use.

More progress shots! What do you think of this built-in media unit?

My design features 🪵 walnut wood 🪵as backing for the open, cube shelving. There is also concealed LED lighting to add a soft, glowing atmosphere in the evenings.

Walnut, paired with denim blue accent colour, is a theme throughout the downstairs living rooms in this whole house renovation!

🌟❤️🍴 ELEVATED DINING TABLE 🍴❤️ 🌟

My client liked the idea of a breakfast bar but also needed a table for dinner parties, so we raised the height of the bespoke dining table to allow for both! Adding an exotic tile to the base has created the wow 🌟

The statement fire place with recessed TV has a marble effect finish and space to perch next to the fire.

What do you think of this fireplace transformation?

At Harmony Design we love the welcoming vibes of a roaring fire! Located opposite the front door, this log burner is the first thing you see on entering our client's home.

We have chosen a bold denim blue paint for the surround, plus lots of built-in log storage via the asymmetrical nook on the left.

Spring at last!

It has been one long wet winter but finally the blossom is out and the leaves are returning. 🌳🌸🌼

Creating a comfortable inside nook looking out at the garden is a real mood lifter. 🌞

Lusso

We have been asked to create a concept design for a local vibration fitness club which we call 'wobble'.

It is a bold design which is very different to what it currently looks like. We have used lines to create a sense of calm 🧘 and wood to add warmth and help with acoustics. The orange and blue are the company’s colours so we have created a feature with these on the back wall along with shelving.

We wanted to create a feeling of tranquil calmness in a space which helps so many people. 🪷

Media wall final design checks 🔨🏘️

We are creating a fabulous media wall for my client using a brilliant team of joiners, I am so excited to show you the final results.

We have open shelving both sides with a closed cupboard at the base, then we have a middle section which will allow the TV, sound bar and fire to sit flush. The unit will be painted a beautiful deep matt blue with an oak backing to the shelves and hidden LED lighting. 💙🪵🔅

There are so many options from eco-friendly cork to flexible fluted panels which elegantly swoop around curved walls. The options are endless especially when you throw paint in the mix. 🖌️✨

Bespoke hallway storage unit. 😃👡👞🧢👒👜🎒🌂

This custom made hallway unit has added a touch of style, colour and functionality to my client’s home. The unit is made from high quality materials and is finished in a stunning shade of pink. It's also incredibly practical, with plenty of storage space for coats, shoes, and other belongings. Our client is absolutely thrilled with the finished product!
