They include recycled rubber feet to keep the wooden legs off the ground.

I have been wanting a neat solution for my home work station. Using my dining room table is not the answer so I took some inspiration from others and have started to make my own standing desk.

Garage workstation on top of Wickes kitchen cabinets. A nice solution to help tidy a garage and provide space for the owner to work on their bikes etc.

They plan to add a mat to the surface of th bench to keep it good of oil etc.

Finished with a tanned beeswax.

I built a sleeper wall to contain a raised lawn which sat amidst lots of great work done by two friends of mine.

Working outdoors and loosing myself in the project was a form of therapy. I switched off my coaching head and immersed myself in problem solving, measuring, cutting and crafting something that solved a problem and was pleasing to the eye.

What have you recently immersed yourself in that takes your away to a different mental and perhaps physical space? I ask because I think we could all benefit from such variety.

I have been doing some woodwork over the past few months. A couple of days a week on the tools and outdoors has been a lovely balancing addition to my week of coaching (I have been a life coach since 2017). It gives me a chance to unwind my mind in a certain way and I get lost in the process of problem solving whilst benefitting from being physical lumping sleepers about to make a few nice additions to a couple of local gardens.
