The Jurassic Dad

I’m doing it again. Mums get it in the diaries to kick the dads and kids out of the house for the morning.

A great morning hike down into the amazing Winspit quarry to explore the coastline with the kids. Bring packed lunches and let the dads lose with the little ones.

An opportunity to let dads be dads. Open up and talk all things fatherhood and parenting all while taking in the beautiful Jurassic coastline with the kids. We all know how stubborn men are about opening up so this is a great way for dads to meet up for a bit of a jolly of a walk and talk amongst themselves.

**WE ARE BACK**

A lot has been happening at home as a lot of you will know and within my work life also. It's time I took control of my actions and start using these feelings and emotions into something more positive.

Over the last couple of days, I have been working on stripping back and resetting my Blog Site. It is now set live and is somewhere I will share stories, products, and things that me and the girls get up to on our days off together.

Back to a little normality today as Ruby goes back to school. An amazing Winter break with her at home. We did so much nice stuff like see family at the beach hut, Go bowling, swimming, walks in the forests abs Ruby’s first bowling experience and learning to hold her breath under water for 10 seconds.

She’ll be out Coasteering with me in no time! 🙂

Hey Dad's!!!!

Merry Christmas to you all and we hope you all have an amazing new year. We all know it's been a tough year mentally for us all with so many changes happening on an almost daily basis, some for the good and some for the bad.

I really want to push this years "Dorset Dad Walk" as much as possible to gain the exposure it deserves to help get us dads outdoors together with the children for a good walk and chin wag to allow us to open up and share all things DAD, without the woman in our lives present. Men being men, are stubborn! FACT! We love the hide away our emotions and feeling as by showing it is like a sign of weakness. We have all had cases in our lives that have caused us to feel stressed, anxious, unconfident, worried and we simply don't talk about it enough as men.

This walk with our kids will hopefully allow us to talk freely and about anything we have on our minds all while enjoying the stunning scenery of the Jurassic Coastline as we walk down into Winspit Quarry for a lunch break and to allow dads and kids alike to explore its caves, rock features and amazing views.

If you are a brand or a company that would love to get involved with this event in anyway then please do drop me a message as I will be hoping to put together something to give back to the dads that attend. We already have some amazing support from previous events so would love for this to grow.
