There’s definitely some benefits to photographing golf over sailing - no salt water constantly getting on your gear being one! It was great to capture some images at a charity golf day for one of my interior photography clients via my Harbour View Photography brand.

A tricky day for all in Poole Bay for the Flying 15 Southerns at Parkstone Yacht Club. A constantly shifting breeze and variable wind made for a high concentration day for both competitors and the race management team!

Day 3 of the RS Sailing 30th Anniversary Regatta at Hayling Island Sailing Club bought plenty of sun and light winds for all.
Some tight racing through all of the fleets with the race teams managing to get some good racing in to complete the series.

Just trawling back through some photos of the International RS800 Class Association Nationals from the 2022 RS Sailing RS Games. Here we have the Stu Bithell lookalike crewing a RS800!

The RS21 International Class Worlds in Croatia last year had a mix of conditions with a couple of really windy days with some horizontal rain thrown in to the mix. Great fun to watch however capturing photos and video proved to be pretty difficult; even with a waterproof cover on the camera. Taking any photos in to the wind was just a non-starter and video gear decided enough was enough at one point and just gave up! Happy days!

I love this shot as it sums up what was a breezy 28er Worlds at this year. It does look like the crew is shouting but I think he was just gasping for air after a frantic (and not wholly successful) kite drop!
