Dynamic entry in to brass hook, - A brass hook is going to see you well in to higher intermediate and advanced so it’s worth the effort to get to grips with this as an intermediate student - It’s tricky at first but my top tip for this one is keep your sit bones AWAY from the pole, your instinct it to pull them in to a seated position but the whole area needs to open and away, if you look my torso and lower leg are open towards the camera - Brass hook was something I struggled to learn personally and it took me a long while to get this and even longer to get a brass monkey it was definitely a nemesis move in my earlier days of pole, I now have no issue on any side in fact I don’t know which is my good or bad side in either moment - Practice and repetition is key - #intermediatepole #dynamicpole #polecrazy

I always like how smooth you can make this intermediate pole fitness / dance combo the moves of this one just fall together - To hard? Regress this by performing the moves in isolation or doing 1 or 2 together then 3 and 4 together then knitting them together after - To easy add a chopper before the crucifix or enter from shoulder mount or add a super hold before the thigh hold - #intermediatepole #poleintermediate #intermediatepoletricks #polecombo

If your goal is to invert but you are struggling or you just want to get there a bit quicker, add these moves to your practice - Upright crucifix! This is the exact same as your basic invert or the first invert you learn, keep your shoulders and core engaged when you climb in to this, not only is this building strength in general it’s building grip and pain tolerance - Fan kick / cartwheel is a great conditioning exercise in general not just a pretty spin, this teaches you to keep your core active shoulder down and for you to tilt your pelvis to the ceiling which is what we need to invert - Poke tucks - I know nobody wants to do these but they are great for building abdominal strength grip strength ang can be performed with straight legs, be sure to work both sides - Basic skater pose, it’s often overlooked but is a great move to condition the shin, switch on the quads and build strength, it’s not just good for invert conditioning but climbing to - Brass standing pose, not just for intro level, this helps with grip and activating the hamstring and glute - Happy training - #beginnerpole #polebeginner #beginnerpoletricks
