Volunteer sessions at the Plot have started again!
Join Vaso, the new Volunteer and Community Engagement coordinator, and the other Plot volunteers to learn what is involved in 'growing your own' in the local area, have a brew, a chat and some cake :)
Sessions take place on Wednesdays 9AM-1PM at Old Holly Farm.
Volunteering usually includes tackling seasonal farming tasks in a lovely setting close to Garstang, immersed in nature.
Tasks include but are not limited to weeding, transplanting, sowing, watering and harvesting for the first 2 hours alongside music, then a nice break and chat followed by another 1.5 hours of working on the site.
