We are delighted to announce that our first play for the 2024-25 Season is 'Home, I'm Darling' by Laura Wade. It will be directed by Anne-Marie Flood and performed at Preston Playhouse from October 9th to 12th, 2024.

Two Reading Nights are planned for anyone interested in auditioning for a part in the play or just getting involved.

Cast:

Judy – female aged 38, domestic goddess, obsessed with the 1950s era, wife to Johnny, good at jiving (leading female role).

Johnny – male aged 37, estate agency salesman , husband to Judy, owns a 1950s Austin (leading male role).

Fran – female aged 35, commercial stylist, lover of the 1950s era, friend of Judy & Johnny, married to Marcus.

Marcus – male aged 43, friend of Judy & Johnny, married to Fran, good at jiving, tactile, owns a Chevrolet as well as an Audi.

Sylvia – female aged 67, mother of Judy, divorced, raised her daughter in a commune.

Alex – female aged 30, brunette, Johnny’s new boss at the estate agency.
