🧲 An incredible night last night when we held our charity race night for the benefit of Dementia UK. We raised a fabulous £605.24 and we couldn’t have done it without the help of so many exceptional people.

❤️Firstly I would like to thank our Sponsors; Phill Leyland of Hopworks Brew Co. and Urban Life Mick Mclaughlin of KEM Plumbing & Heating Adam Brown of HoofsandPaws - Food4Paws Jo-Ann McEwan and Graham McEwan of Jo's Village Kitchen TracyHebblethwaite and her wonderful family, thank you all so much for your generosity.

❤️Next a big thank you has to go to all those who bought a tricast box do the last race of the night. The winning tricast was 7-2-5 and was won by our very own Bert Yates who chose to put the £200 back into the charity pot.
❤️Also a massive thanks to all our horse owners, we are extremely grateful to all 54 of you.
🐎 Then of course all the many people who came & supported the night, betting in all 8 races. On that note, a huge thanks goes out to Denise Hartley for helping with the taking of bets and paying out the winning punters.
🎶 Then of course there’s the band who played after the racing, The Mary Barnsley Experience, who were awesome as ever, our many thanks goes out to them.
🍺 Then there’s Phill Leyland and Richard who worked the very busy bar, the night couldn’t have happened without their tireless efforts.
❤️A special mention must go to Phill whose effort is never given the credit it deserves. You’re the best Phill.
🍔Then there’s Emma Yates who did an amazing job in the kitchen with Caitlin Williams; thanks very much, you girls are the best.
I hope I haven’t forgotten anyone but if I have please know that our gratitude is endless. 💙💙💙

☑️ Horse ownership is still available and costs £5.00 per horse. For this you get to name your horse, (cut off time for naming horses is 6pm Saturday for the purposes of printing out the race cards) but don’t worry, we have plenty of horse names if you don’t want to name your horse.
