☀️SUMMER SCHEDULE 🏖️

It's almost summer time and like most of you, we will be going on a holiday on some of the weeks, which will affect the way we operate.

So, please note the change in the box delivery/collection schedule:

12th June - NO BOXES (on holiday)
19th June - delivery/collection (new cycle starts this week and continues every fortnight)
3rd July - delivery/collection
17th July - NO BOXES (on holiday)
31st July - delivery/collection

And so on until further notice.

This way, in December, our boxes won't fall on Xmas day (when there's no delivery), but rather a week prior.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

This is me taking part in Lancaster mid-winter market, showing how to make sauerkraut. It was very cold, but also very enjoyable 😀

DRIVERS WANTED🚘: Broadgate - Fulwood

Back to Eden Local & Organic Veg Box scheme is looking for locals who are commuting to Fulwood past Broadgate area (at least on Wednesdays) to deliver veg boxes to about 4-5 addresses.

We pay £1.50 per address - not much, I know- but that's why we are looking for someone who is already making a trip to Fulwood and can do it as part of their errands. Approximate time of collection 1-2pm, every other Wednesday, so the person will need to be flexible.

This can be very rewarding, as you get to meet local people and support a small business, while earning a bit of cash.

Porridge... a perfect winter (who am I kidding? all season) breakfast🥣. Although I prefer to eat it in colder months🥶. It's not very filling on its own and can spike your sugar levels very rapidly📈, without giving you the lasting energy you need💪.

So the best way to make it more filling is to add protein, fiber and fat to this humble grain🌾. Choose what you like and load it up!

I like to stir in some vegan butter (Naturli is my favourite)🧈 (although coconut oil would be good as well).

And add the toppings:
