Since moving our friends Luisa's have been working really hard to improve their accessibility to their restaurant check out some of the things have already been putting in place since our visit. Access all areas are very proud to support a business that cares so much about Its access for all its customers who have access requirements.

Our new restaurant is heading in to its crucial final few weeks of development - we are so proud of how far it’s come from the empty white box it was when we started.

Since we moved in, we have:

- Built a new open-plan kitchen that is 3 times the size of our previous one. It includes a brand new wood fired oven, full cookline, and a facilities area.

- Created a bar, fitted out with a professional coffee machine and enough space to serve wine, beer, spirits, and a carefully designed cocktail menu.

- Kitted out toilets, including building a new, spacious accessible toilet with handrails and baby changing facilities.

- Restructured the entrance to the building to allow better access for people with reduced mobility.

- Decorated throughout with our familiar Luisa’s navy blue, with flashes of copper and sunset tones to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

It’s been a rollercoaster journey, but one that we are glad to be nearing finishing line. Sadly, rising costs of construction, labour, and crucial equipment have pushed the project further and further back. We still can’t commit to an opening date until these hurdles have been crossed.

Many of you have contributed to the project already, which was such a humbling experience for us. Thank you for your support, now and always.

There is still a huge amount of work to be completed before we can open - and that’s where we would like to ask for your help. Anything you can donate towards the project goes towards the fit out of the new restaurant, as well as keeping our staff employed.

Click on the link below to help out - there are some cool rewards to earn as a thank you for getting involved.

These are the very nice ladies toilets in the restaurant where we just went for dinner; and the other photos show the disabled toilet and some brushes and mops I removed from across the toilet. I don’t think I need to ask wherher this is equal treatment.

Luisa's First Restaurant 26/01/2022

Please help our friends Luisa's raise funds to support their new venture . They have worked extremely hard in order to get to this point. Even drafting us in to help make improvements to the access of the restaurant. Anything you can spare will help go towards these improvements and help them achieve their dream come true.
