Ever Present Past: The McCartney Tribute Collection

It is with a heavy heart and following medical advice, I have to pull out of both my shows this weekend including Groovyfest V.

I’ve been struggling to shift a chest infection for a couple of weeks which has now been joined by a bout of laryngitis. Adding to this fun bundle and hampering any recovery has been stress of my stepdads unexpected passing.

Sadly its all come a few days too soon for me to be able to give the level of show I’m happy with and that people expect.

I hope everyone going has an amazing time and wish all the best to the other superb acts on the bill.

Some bloke doing Paul McCartney covers wouldn't come instantly to mind but it was brilliant. Using backing tracks recorded by himself, Saul had the crowd going (shouting Happy Birthday Terry probably helped as well 😎 ) On a truly eclectic night, I can't think of a more enjoyable opener.
