W.i.p and Sneak peak of my Luna's portrait. Inner eye done, Base layers down everywhere else and now working on her eyelid to then move onto her nose. Really pleased with the results so far!

A very special portrait for a very special dog. ❤️ Milly crossed her way over the rainbow bridge a few years ago now and unfortunately the only reference photos I had to use were taken back before 2014 so I was limited. Luckily I knew Millie’s face so I was honoured to fill in some details so her portrait could watch over her loved ones. ❤️

Welcome to my art page! Little introduction as to who I am! My name is Beth Wakerell and I am a self taught portrait artist specialising in animal portraiture. I am a real animal girl and this is where my passion really lies. I love all animals but I’m a bit cat crazy!
I am currently taking on pencil portrait commissions however in the future I will be taking on other work such as painting and pastel pencil commissions.
