Last week my year 5 girl asked me about my favorite animal and favorite color. This week I received her lovely drawing.
Fish is one of my favorite animal because most fish live in the sea with no land boundaries and they can swim freely.

Tips for triumphant turns 🎼
My first concert with Reading Bach Choir. It was amazing to sing acapella with these professional singers. Thanks our conductor Daniel Mahoney.
Heinrich Schütz, Selig sind die Toten
J.S. Bach, Jesu Meine Freude
Tomás Luis de Victoria, Officium Defunctorum
A week to go!
It was a very enjoyable singing day with John Rutter. His compositions embrace the dynamic nature of God’s presence through the words of God and beautiful harmony.
Some people described his choral music as “desserts”. If it is true, he would be the Michelin star chef. 🤩
My pleasure to perform with handbell soloist Emily Li and Hong Kong Youth Handbell Ensemble in National Ringing Week.
Amazing to get the result quickly.
Hard work pays off 🎉

What a wonderful music night with
Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and a young talented pianist Shunta Morimoto.
Shunta shared virtuoso and expressive gifts by playing Liszt piano concert no. 1. From his young age, he demonstrated an innate musical maturity and outstanding technical abilities, building a n inspiring bonding with the orchestra.
The concert shined on a spotlight on the dramatic moments behind the 5th Symphony by Beethoven. The opening of the first movement could have more impact by the well-known 4-note motive and the pause. The strings and woodwinds are magnificent, especially the oboe captured a magical time suspending moment. The finale was a great triumphant that sets our hearts on fire. It brought a festive cheers to the Coronation.
My pleasure to meet our choral guests, L’Ensemble Vocal de la Vallee du Tarn, from France and four local soloists.

Year 4 and 5 students sang beautifully in the summer concert. Congratulations 🎉
My pleasure to work with Margaret Probyn who is a professional opera singer in her farewell concert. Music connects us 🎵
As I experienced life more, I have a deeper understanding of the music this time despite I sang it several times before.
Merry Christmas 🎄
This video illustrates the beauty of handbell ringing - teamwork that made the music fun, lively and unique.

Bach's Prelude and Fugue BWV884 was chosen again for ABRSM Grade 8 piano exam 2021-2022. It is worth trying on organ with proper fi*****ng skills. Wake up, my fingers 😆
This video reminds me of having some experimental music in the 20th century music class in university. It's truly fun to explore different sounds on piano with friends 😁 So, who is kind enough to borrow me a grand and allow me to have a try? 🧐
