Unforgettable weekend taking the victory in the London Cup at Rye House

Saturday (dry):
• Quali - P3
Only a tenth off pole but ended up in no-man’s land on track so wasn’t able to get a tow

Sunday (wet):
• Heat 1 - P3 ⬆️ P2 + Fastest lap ⏱️🟣
Last minute rain meant we didn’t have enough time to change the kart from a dry set up and had to settle for P2

• Heat 2 - P2 ⬆️ P1 + Fastest lap ⏱️🟣
Took the lead on lap one and then pulled a 4s lead despite conditions getting worse

• Final - P2💥⬇️ Last ⬆️ P1 🏆 + Fastest lap ⏱️🟣
Another great start put me in the lead by the first corner but I got taken out and spun on lap one falling all the way down to last! Devastated, but I didn’t give up and put in the drive of my life passing through the entire field all the way back up to first (in just 5 laps)! Even pulled a 3s lead 😳

Overall, it was an incredible weekend that meant a lot to us as we had finished runners up last year in Micro Max. To get the win my first year in Mini Max was awesome 💪🏼
