Discovered an old VHS tape that had been hiding in a box. This was from way back, circa 1990 and featuring the old Reading crew who I grew up skating with. This was a simpler time. No social media, no internet and not even any mobile phones! If you wanted to go skate you hit your mates up on their landline and if you were out you used a pay phone. And there was no filming clips for props, stuff just occasionally got filmed for the hell of it. It was just about skating for the sake of skating because we all loved it so much. These were the pre-Sunday trading days when you pretty much had the town to yourself on a Sunday. I miss those days.
